Yes there is ico on other platforms. But most of it is still on eth. Also I will recommend to beware of ico which offer to install your own wallet. They can have viruses.

That is undeniably true that some of the ICO that offer to have to install your own wallet have some phishing virus and can damage and be used to steal your precious personal details . But it also depends on what ICO you are participating some ICO is getting your ETH address for your payment.

Any one can answer my question?
Indeed, it all depends on the rules of the ICO in which you are going to participate. Most all the same require. But with your rank, I doubt that you do not have an ETH address  Wink  Grin

Yes some ICO do not ask for ethereum wallet since they provided their own wallet or they have other altcoins to advertise some of it was stamp, graft and soferox. But I don't see any bad thing if you are having an ethereum wallet besides it is one of the commonly use and trusted wallet. Better read the guidelines set for each campaign if you have any discretion with regards to token or online wallets

It depends on the ICO, sometimes they need is the waves address instead of eth address. But most of the ICO now choose the eth because of contract. You can join in ICO but to can't receive your payment and it is unfair for you, only need to do is to follow their needs. And if you think that it is hard to make an etherium address it is NO, just go on myetherwallet.com and choose what key you want to use. And the eth address is there.

Maybe when you registered in their website, you received wallets for that coin and USD or BTC/ETH. You can send your USD or BTC to this wallet and join ICO

Any one can answer my question?
Yes, you can. It depends on bounty conditions of a compaign in which you are participating. For example, Universa transfers all the oarned tokens into your universa wallet

Most of the ICOs uses Ethereum platform. Having an Ethereum address will make your life easier.
Not that hard to create at myetherwallet.com.
Just follow the steps correctly and send your ETH there. After that you can join most of the ICOs being offered.
