As far as I know, https://www.expedia.com/ allows you to book flights and pay using Bitcoins.
It's not an airline but shows you the best deals from many different airlines.

A list of all services: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4qg6mj/where_to_buy_plane_ticket_with_btc/
It's still recommended to do more research on these sites because this was posted one year ago and some of these services might have closed or scammed people etc.

Expedia was only ever hotels for Bitcoin for some reason, and they might have abandoned that.

The main ones where you can buy flights are - https://btctrip.com/   https://destinia.co.uk/  https://www.cheapair.com/

There are no doubt others. From browsing through and comparing prices on those sites though you can usually find flights for less with regular currency. If the OP can get a Bitcoin debit card they'll be able to pick and choose the right price.

Airlines can't take payment in bitcoins. They can set the price in dollars or euros, but to take payment they owe only the national currency of the country in which they sell a ticket. This is a mandatory condition of licensing. To take bitcoin can only be a mediator, but I didn't trust them.

Wouldn't be a safer option if you convert your bitcoins into whatever currency you prefer and book your flight through that company?

Hi, a success for the life of your friend. you need to know that I think there are some avia companies who received the btc to means of payment, but it's all hard to find. because right now it's all businesses prefer to use means of payment that is widely used by consumers, where they are more concerned with convenience for its users. And also if you are using btc as means of payment at this time now, then it is a big loss because we don't have the opportunity to earn a bigger profit in the future.

I hope some day the flight companies will be able to accept btc since it 's just logical "final" when trans-national company offers payment in trans-national currency, isn't it? There is always a great chance that the platform which offers deals show their scam -face... unfortunately

As Bitcoin is still developing, only few airlines applied Bitcoin as the payment method, namely CheapAir, BTCTrip and Expedia, although I would recommend to exchange bitcoins into the acceptable currency in order to avoid any difficulties on this matter.

there may be some avia companies in this world which accept btc payments but it may be a bit difficult to find because in general every avia company accepts payment which consumers use, and avia companies certainly more concerned with consumer ease because they are emphasizing easier payment method and not difficult to process because many people in this world use btc for long-term investation not as a payment for avia companies

This. It is somewhat simpler to use such service, but it makes much more sense to exchange BTC yourself at a better rate and pay in local currency, there is no way such companies can offer a better rate then specialized exchanges.

Exchangers  services are always about fee, it's their way to earn Smiley The crypeo world is still in that tight connection to the real retail services , but I beliyve that  this point when the aircompanies will have their crypto wallets and accept the payments in cryptocurrency is smoothly approaching Smiley
