The bitcoin chain is 130+ GB right now but many wallets give you the option of only downloading the previous n days or retaining transactions relating to your wallet address.

Perhaps, this is something that might work its way into a future Semux release for anyone who doesnt want to run a full node?

Deterministic randomness is planned to be added to validator selection after the beta net, as it changes the consensus.

I'm hoping too. Hopefully I can finish it this week. Tomorrow and the next day is my day off from work so I can squeeze more work on this. Wish me luck!
