So instead of making a good duplicate checker, they are punishing honest people like me using only one account to get semux.

I agree you can check the same address. But how do you check multi-accounts with different SEM-addresses?
They can has different IP's, different twitters, e-mails, etc. It's not a problem to buy or to create different accounts.

All ways has pluses and minuses. I don't see an ideal way.

for those who are worried big btc holders will get the bulk of the drop, you don't have to worry. There will be a cap limiting the maximum sem to be given per btc holder.

And since the block snapshot has been pre selected no one can game the numbers at any point.

Also this wont be only method of distribution to be used. Depending on how it goes other methods will be utilized to further decentralize the distribution.

i dont worry about 2nd airdrop fair , trust dev and community , wil make a fair and exact plan

Yup, no ideal way, so it's best to use many ways. I'm not a big fan of this kind of BTC airdrop, but if also airdropped to another/other large market cap blockchains at least it could help differentiate semux... and help decentralize the distribution.

needs more time to get listed - first RC1 has to come and pass, then it will go live in early 2018
then we expect listings

I voted equally on 5 delegates (15 votes total) and got 0.03 SEM share per 24hr period, that's kinda low if you ask me but it is what it is.  Smiley

It's interesting to do just to see how this consensus protocol works.  But yeah, with 5 delegates, I think that's 0.05 SEM tx fee per delegate, or 0.25 SEM to vote across all 5.  Then if you want to unvote it's probably another 0.25 SEM in fees.  So that's 1/2 a SEM for the round trip.  Maybe people with low vote totals to give can vote it all on just one validator to save on fees.

I totally agree with you. If we could only vote on one delegate and the effect is like voting on all five, saving the fees would really mean something especially for a supporter like me who has just enough SEM to make my boat float.

Regardless of experience, this should be worth trying, and only a constant attempt can make us go further.Teams should have their own development plans, so it should be supported by the community.

use Civic for ID verification. It should make it difficult for duplicator. And who ever cheated should be deprived of their SEMs.

Semux is distributed by combining different methods:

if you're early supporters, you should've received SEMs from our alpha/beta tests;
if you have nothing but are interested in semux, you should've received SEMs from our BitcoinTalk airdrop;
if you like crypto and own bitcoin, you'll be able to get some in our BTC giveaway, other cryptocurrencies also under consideration.

We have been trying our best to give away semux as fair as possible.

The Beta network is going to stop in one hour. We'll set up the RC network and transfer all balances right after.

Do we need to do something?

btw BTC airdrop is basically saying t many here we wasted our time in the beta/alpha honestly. We helped for the whales who could have helped themselves instead

You'll need to upgrade your wallet.

Alpha and beta test participants are receiving much more coins than btc holders. 3+ million coins were distributed to alpha/beta/airdrop participants; the btc giveaways will be capped by 2 million (also, there will be limit for each individual address to avoid whales).

You don't need to upgrade your Java every time. You only need to download and run the new version of semux wallet.

ok so i guess i can stop beta5 now then, still it makes little sense tu do a  BTC wallet snapshot since given how BTC is distributed it is still unfair. I have most invested in ETH, ZEC and QTUM so i can forget to get anything (since I am not selling t BTC, I am not silly)

When will the RC wallet be available? Will it be today, or is it at a later time? I cannot see it on Github.
