nice project, i downloaded the wallet and joined the airdrop. is it a weekly airdrop or just one time? what's the use of "delegates"?
Delegates are validator candidates. Once a delegate gets enough (top 64 ) votes it becomes a validator which can forge/mine blocks and get rewards.

Does chromebook have java and does it allow sort of 3rd party apps to run? I'm not really familiar with it but as far as download will go you need the Unix version since Chromebook is linux based OS.

Is there an instruction to force the program to update the blocks?
You can delete the database file inside the Semux folder, it will automatically resync the Semux blockchain. Did not help. I need enter to the program 100 times to start updating the blocks. But when the number of peers reaches 36-38, the update stops and again has to restart the program. Have same problem. Used beta, rc1, rc2 without problems before and now cannot sync during 2 weeks. This has been a common issue recently. - To fix this problem, please follow the following steps.
- close any running semux wallet in your network
- open port 5161 in your router/firewall.
- delete semux database folder
- restart computer
- open semux wallet and sync
PS: If port 5161 is opened successfully you should get 70+ peers. If you are getting just around <50 peers it's possible port 5161 is not yet open. Looks too hard for wide using. Not many people know how to open port. What? Opening a port nowadays is pretty straight forward. Google is your friend.

Not to mention it runs on older PCs as well.

So what is the expected price for this coin? I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth the effort prove I own my amount of BTC. Some of these kinds of airdrops have given away barely a few dollars and this coin isn't on coinmarketcap.

For those people who have some difficulty in syncing with our blockchain, please open port 5161.
How do you open port 5161 on your modem/router?
If you are using any router with QoS or other bandwidth limiting software (i.e Tomato, DD-WRT, TPLINK, Asus Merlin, OpenWRT, Kerio Control, Mikrotik, etc.) please exempt or make a rule to allow Semux traffic to flow in port 5161:
Protocol: TCP/UDP Destination Port: 5161 Classification: Highest
That will speed up the syncing process and anything related to Semux. HTH.

But unavailable until next version. There are some issue with syncing if you're running the SNAPSHOT version of the wallet. We're looking into it. P.S. keeping port 5161 open is not required for non-validator nodes.
