What is minimum blocktime BFT can achieve?

Can developers say on this?

30s per block. 1block for confirmation

That is not what I meant. I mean how fast can it go? Can devs push BFT faster than 30 seconds? Does it slow down with 100 validators versus fewer?

It's worth highlighting that only 1 confirmation is required for an IMMUTABLE transaction. This means you don't have to wait i.e. 10 confirmations, just 1 is needed.

This is one of the great things about Semux and BTF consensus!

Oh i wasn't aware of it.

So it is not possible to make double payments or so.

But probably exchanges would ask more than 1 confirmation when it listed Smiley

Woww!  But is 30 sec really the fastest block time or could it match ETH's 12 second or whatever?

12 seconds isn't so great if it's clogged with cryptokitties  Cheesy

Bitcoin is 10 minutes.. I'd say 30 seconds is fast enough if you can get 100's of tps like Semux.

The speed of transactions is important, but the fees you have to pay are equally important. Bitcoin's fees have been very high for a while now. If a transaction's fees are above $10 it reduces the number of use cases a coin can have. Small payments are cheap for semux, and unfeasible for bitcoin.

I agree with you.I think the newbie,Jr and neg DT account should not made eligible for signature campaign..cos most of them are farmed ,alt or bought accounts.
I think the Dev should engage any trusted member to oversee the bounty for spam check/post qlty, etc. Many members will volunteer for this and some SEM skates can be given to compensate the time and efforst

I can understand everyone wants more semux and wants to exclude some people (the main reason i left the airdrop after 1st week was too many joiners too) but dev team wants more people even some are scammers all newbies or all jr. members are not fully farming account.

it is only me or some people saw this thing too ?
when i tried to copy paste my signature,i saw the blue one.
but when other people wore it,
i saw a green one and some of them even used a red one.

i agree with you if we are talking about the newbies.
most of them were farm accounts,
we could say that based on total newbie participants

Actually,I don't have anything against Jr member are newbies..but just think, a newbie/Jr member is one who  is just learn't about bitcoins/cryptos and is exploring the forum to primarily  gain knowledge and not lurking for sig campaigns...and a remote chance of venturing into sign campaign..
TBH..I didn't even knew about signature campaigns until after a year I joined this site
I think there should be ratio of newbies to Jr.Members to Members and so on..otherwise 75% will be newbies and Jr members (farmed accounts)

Was the bitcoin airdrop issue ever resolved? Many users did not receive their drop from last week - I told my friend to re-sign up for this week and see if he receives it now

Airdrop is over, signing campaign has been passed. They did not see the demand in the forum, but investors are buying cars now. I made some hodl and it still comes to me without signing. If I had more time, I would have a nice house. The price went up without entering the stock market. You should be interested in those that are not already interested in this forum. Otherwise you will get your hands on the waves of the pbts.
