BTC Airdrop works by giving away SEM if you had a minimum of 0.05 BTC balance at height #480,000. You don't need to send any btc, you either had a btc balance at that height or not. If you had then go and apply for SEM.
In addition to the above you can participate in the signature campaign to get SEM.

You should check your post count when the participants list would announced every Sunday, so you can also can your current level (newbie or j.member) to make sure how reward you can receive in the next week.

About 10 posts. I think people doing the mistake on posts count.

At the start, if you have 40 posts you need at least 50 posts when it is counted. If some of your old messages deleted before, you need to make new of them.

It is not enough just post 10 on that week, your post count should rise at least 10.

I get it know why people is writing here i did 10 posts and i didn't receive kind of things. The best way is checking the week's participants and see your post count there and act on it.

no, they took a btc snapshot at a certain date so btc had to be in the address at that time

no, they took a btc snapshot at a certain date so btc had to be in the address at that time

As long as they didnt mention the distribution method ahead of time should be fine I guess. Altho some will get lucky having their BTC divied up amongst many wallets.

Great news that the main net will launch on January 20, 2018. Looking forward to it.
