yes becouse an exchange in my opinion make the project a little more real than now, and attract more investor.
more investor means dev team could sell part of premine for pay someone for help the project. (cumincation,development etc)

they just increased the dev team by one - so 4 devs dedicated to it!
the github repo is quite active - the community is, too.
Many small and big thinks benig worked on.

I think Semux will hit the exchanges, soon - maybe next wallet release version will support exchanges

but doing an activity on github can be considered as an activity,if you visited their github respository you will see a lot of activities happened in there.

to become an online payment right ? or virtual currency.

This project is always consistent since the beginning. Deliver first before the hype. Right now that what the team is doing. Everyone is aware that as soon as Semux gets listed in an exchange hype for the project will increase.

Community activity is also not centered only on bitcointalk, there is constant activity on Discord and Telegram is also catching up.
