If we can educate our kids at home why do we need to send them at school?

It's true that we can educate our kids at home instead of at school. However there will be several things that we can't get from homeschooling. Kids need to socialize with others. Having our kids to homeschooling surely will effect on their social behaviour which isn't good for their physiological aspect. Besides homeschooling tends to give the cognitive activities only,  and lacks of physical activities which isn't good for their psychomotoric aspect. That's why immersing our kids to public school will cover all thing that our kids need in their growing process.

I think schools are there to teach our child what we cannot teach, we will always have atleast 1 weakness when it comes to academics. A tutor could do the job if that is the case but there are just lots of limitations. When it comes to socialization, ok lets not send them to school, lets just find other group of parents looking for other parents whose wanting their kids to have a social group so that they could do activities where they will learn to cooperate and help others, wait a minute, isn't that called a school?.

really need a child go to a School to learn many things. So that they can learn to interact with people.  really they go to school to learn many things. Because we fail to teach our children at home. Therefore with teachers because they teach our children about the importance of education

Because society wants to teach our children instead of the parents. It's about indoctrinating our youth into one way of thinking. Creativity and entrepreneurship is dying because of this. Think of how many successful drop outs we have. (Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, etc.)

Because what we are learning in school is different at home.
In school we are learning for education for our future, to be professional at work, to be knowledgeable at all things and also at school you can enhance the connection of a kid to others, it makes the child socialize.
While at home, yes you can study at home but isn’t it enjoyable while you are learning you get what the world is.

school is not only about subject matters. it teaches  students knowledge, attitudes and skills.Although we can teach children at home they are not taught good values at home. that's why the schools are there

How many parent have the time to educate their child at home, how many parent can even boast of having 60% time not to talk of educatingthe child. Thats were school comes in. School is there to educate our children. They have all the time to teach them virtually everything we couldnt teach them at home. in ters of maral and culture.

of course we need to teach our children at home for the better and assurance of their education.education is in school not everywhere.we teach our children so they can forget their studied at school especially in their homework.schooling for children is the best for them for more learning and fun and to have friends too.

Because i think the standards in school is different from the standards in home. Also, it it very important for a child to learn how to socialize and make friends with others. It is how a child learns more and appreciate the world and knowing who she/he really is. Because the world outside is much happier than just staying at home.

I agree with you. Yes kids can learn different things and knowledge at home but sending them to school is the best and right thing to do. School is an association that goal is to mold a student into a better one that possess a good characteristics. They can learn new things in school and they can improve their social activities because of their friends. There also some activities that schools can offer that they cannot do n home. Schools also mold their students to become a good role model to other people.

I think it's because we have grown accustomed to the norm that a degree and the right school is a vital factor to landing a good job in the future.  It also has something to do with our belief that schools will still offer things/learnings that homeschooling can not as there are topics/matters which are best learnt from professors.  I do agree though that socialization is not just learned from school as there are many ways by which children can get that nowadays.

True education comes from within.. most of the parents send their child to school because of socialization, but i think this is not the essence of education in school, a school is the new environment where your child can examine and explore their different skills, like building their trust and self confident as a human. it is like going out from their comfort zone, and experience a world like life without the comfort of their parents, where they stand in their own, make their own decision. and improve what they can be from where they are right now.

If you have enough money, then educate your children at home, it is not forbidden and is actively practiced in developed countries. But many parents can not afford to hire tutors, so their children study in general schools.

Most parents are busy with their own work, home schooling is one alternative to provide education. For socialization problems can be overcome by inviting our children to play with friends his age in the park, playground, play with our neighbor's house. But it is better to give education to our children in Sekolahan. Because the school has a curriculum that has been arranged neatly and proven.

If you can provide your kid with home education and bring him to various clubs and events, where he'll have to socialize (inevitably), then my congratulations! However, not that many parents are able to devote so much time to their kids. Simply because of work. Thus it's much more convenient to send your child to a good comprehensive school.
