We at Experimental know how skeptical the community currently is facing all the new ICOs.  With the numerous amount of new companies and projects being founded every day, it might become hard to set apart the rotten apples. That's why we decided it would be a great idea to share some thoughts about this matter.

Take a look at our article: Not everyone’s a scammer!

What do you think about this? Feel free to share your ideas above!

I think it's a pretty fair article, the message it sends to the reader is pretty clear and not over the top in any way, but it lacks a little substance imo.
It's definitely true that not every investment opportunity is a scam and that honest people might get called scammer without reason.

On the other hand, there are a lot of scams so people are just very weary of anyone asking for money for an investment.

Does this deserve an article? I don't know, I'd say just suck it up being called a scammer and be transparent and honest about everything. Prove them wrong.

Agreed. A lot of people who appear to be scammers may just have a bad idea or have trouble communicating it.

There are likely some scammers.

But the majority are not.  Most probably have good intentions, but they have either bad ideas or bad execution.

The biggest problem is not scammers.  The biggest problem is that everyone is trying to create a blockchain project.  But most of their ideas are not good fits for a blockchain.  They are trying to put anything and everything onto a blockchain, including the kitchen sink.  Some of them won't work, because not every application in the world is suited for the blockchain.

Some ideas are like WebVan. It was too early and it failed.  But grocery delivery eventually can work...20 years later.

Agreed, we just felt there are many young developers that might not be able to deal with being called a scammer when they unveil their first project. In our case, we've been through good and bad and are a solid team, we can handle it. I don't want anyone to get discouraged if they are trying to help build the future.

Agreed not all are scammers. But you can't blame people if they generalize almost all ICO and it's dev coz they experience being scammed by some. I don't think it's worth an article. Just do your thing and prove them wrong!

I would even go as far as claiming that the majority is still legitimate. Scams are only composing the minority. Generalizing is not that positive really. Labeling the entire ICO system as scam does more harm than good so as much as possible we have to avoid that. After all, the projects whose signature we are wearing will be conducting their respective ICOs as well. And we trust them for sure after we did our background check.

It cant really be avoided for the community to treat such way and we cant blame them. Most common thing on scam ico are those who are unknown devs just showed up proposing their project This is why community or people wont really prefer on those newbie devs which they wont really got no interest on funding it but as being said not all are scammers. This is really the hard part on choosing since there are lots of projects do pop out.

In regards to the SEC, their actions show that it might be the opposite.  If most of the ICOs are scams, the SEC would've gone after them or banned ICOs.  In past years, the SEC has gone after much smaller deals worth a few hundred thousand dollars.

This is not to say that the SEC won't do this shortly.  But one document from the SEC about one ICO out of the hundreds of ICOs, is not indicative at most ICOs are scams...unless the SEC does a lot more.

Making a new thread for every bullshit article you write yourself is going to make people hate you and your coin very quickly

Enough, we get it. You're too broke to fund your own idea. Now make a thread for your coin and fuck off with these everyday, nobody gives a shit

People nowadays for what is serve that what they want is to eat only not to take a little bit effort to get that so as of they want to invest and there is nothing or there's no scammer are too very lucky having a scammer is a part not already here but if there is involved money keep it on your mind there's a scam.

Exactly, that's the point. The bad thing is that people bash on some new legitimate projects without proof of anything. This makes the environment a bit too harsh for newcomers. There're also lots of nice people willing to help, too, but the naysayers speak loudly.
