Every religion, I repeat - absolutely any religion is a tool of power over the people based on his faith. So many religions because so many who want to have power.
Natural disasters happen because of human greed, because of the fact that people raped the planet for the sake of their whims and excesses.
Terrorist organizations exist around the world in different countries. To find a hub useless. Terrorist actions are earn and launder a lot of money, so the terrorism will exist as long as greed.
Did you notice that all these three aspects and all countries in the world has one common concept? GREED

The world has so many religion and beliefs because man is created with the nature of finding the logical reasoning as to its own existence.

Religion is guidelines to live, so I think reasonable if many differences guidelines in life.

I am indonesian, in my country there are 5 religions that are officially recognized by the government, and in my country, all people are free to choose their religion without any discrimination on the minority.

Not good enough. What about the minority religions? There are forest tribes in Indonesia, who follow their own religion. But they are forced to convert to Islam or Christianity, as the government does not recognize their religion. They can't get national ID cards, if they don't convert.

if I think that religion is based on personal beliefs, so it is not surprising that in this world a variety of religions arise, as long as the aim is good, not threatening salvation, it is still within reasonableness, but if the terrorist problem, I think someone controls it, it is unlikely that the terrorist will have substantial funds, if it is not funded

It is in nature of man to be ordered and to have someone to lead them. Now, it began when no one was there to lead them and there's always that opportunistic person who wants to take advantage of the situation when all hope is lost for having no purpose, no one to follow and no where to go. In the end, that opportunistic person will be successful in making others believe what he or she wants. It happened a lot of time in history.

As we are moving towards having only two religions (Islam and Christianity), that diversity is getting lost. Even here in India, I can see before my own eyes how different tribes are losing their culture once they are getting converted to Christianity. The missionaries forbid them to sing their traditional songs and they are not even allowed to do ancestor worship.

we have individual opinions, how one or two things should be according the way we want it and so when other opinions crop up that pose a threat to our opinion we revolt against it. we want to make our own god and serve him the way we are comfortable with whether right or wrong.

Logically speaking, it is normal for the world to have many beliefs for it is dependent to every person or to the religion that they are belong. They have different understanding and perceptions to their God and books(if they have).

Terrorism was still existing for there are still people who are selfish and always wanted to have the power to control all people. Calamities is a natural. However, there are conspiracy theory states that it is being controlled by a certain machine, HAARP.

A large portion of the world population no longer believes in the religion in to which they were born. A large percentage has become non-religious, and in countries such as Australia and New Zealand, non-religious people are about to become a majority. Another large portion has converted to a religion, which is different from their parents' religion.

it is the fact that people are really tiny in this world. There are so much more that we can understand and i think that we need a solid foundation  when we face too many difficulties in life. Furthermore, depending on the region that they live in they may have different beliefs.
