He brings up some interesting points, and in a roundabout (and long winded, but like I can talk) dispels many of the common myths and misunderstandings of Bitcoins...

... but for the most part the entire article is "swing and a miss".

After reading I see that the guy has points. I know that JSON-RPC on port 8332 sometimes segfaults with malformed queries. Of course JSON-RPC is disabled by default and binds to loopback when enabled, so I disagree with the blogger, when he says that the port 8332 is the biggest threat. But if JSON-RPC interface can segfault, who can guarantee that the interface on port 8333 is written properly.
