It depends. Do you want a web wallet or a software wallet?

Glad that you ordered you Nano S already. Keep your BTC in a paperwallet until you can put them on your ledger. You'll profit from the maximal security and you're guaranteed that you won't get yor coins stolen during this month.

You can donwload Electrum and store your coins there securely. For more advanced security you can also create a paper wallet with it until you receive your ledger Smiley

My picks:
Bitcoin on Android | Copay, Mycelium
Bitcoin on Windows | Copay, Electrum
Bitcoin on iOS | Breadwallet

Ethereum | myetherwallet.com

But if you want a wallet that can store all of them, go with Exodus.io and download the wallet. It supports a good number of altcoins and tokens. Good move on purchasing a Ledger Nano S by the way. Best of luck.

Exodus doesn't support Ripple, is still under development

it's all depend on your choice
there are software wallet and web wallets, but i prefer to store it all in your software wallet.
because they need to hack your computer in order to get your coins unlike web wallets that only need your information.

the easiest and the best wallets for newbies to store their Bitcoin for me Electrum.
it's very easy to use, just use standard wallet for Bitcoin and you can use it.
not only it's very easy,it's also very secure in my opinion so far.
you just need to download standard wallet and then install it,just need for 5 minutes to do all of this and you do not need to download the chain.

for ethereum i prefer to use MyEtherWallet,it's very easy to use.
but lately many people using a phising email to get your information about your MEW.

for ripple i don't really know,
how about just download their official wallet ?

If youre lookin for the best wallet for ethereum you can use Myetherwallet to store your ethereum, in bitcoin same as in ethereum, always use wallets which you can have  the private keys.

If you are willing to use mobile wallets try using Breadwallet (both iOS and Android), Mycelium or Greenaddress

But be aware of Bitpay on both desktop and mobile as they offer very high transaction fees and also Bitpay supports hardfork!

For Desktop, you can use Bitcoin Core (with pruning option that helps you to store just last 550 blocks but it syncs the whole blockchain and takes nearly a week to finish sync)

Electrum is the best secure option right now for desktop.

For ethereum and ripple there are no mobile wallets that offers private keys. You can use Coinbase or Blockchain.info wallets for Ethereum and Bitcoin at your own risk. (You can trust them but not 100%. Don't hold more than you risk.)

For Ripple, you can try Gatehub or rippex (it's a decentralized exchange and it can be considered safer than an online wallet)

I'm in the block mastery slack channel and I've seen people talking about this one here: https://www.ledgerwallet.com/r/8fd9?path=/products/ledger-nano-s. Does anyone have any thoughts on it?

Use a trusted local wallet that you can use to deposit and withdraw.
