Yeah it is legal. As long as the government will not prohibit us in selling our bitcoins. And if bitcoin is declared illegal in yoir country. I think its hard for you to sell it.

I was thinking of selling my bitcoins for cash. Is it perfectly legal to do so ? Amount is close to 3-4K.

Thanks for reading.
I just wonder what can cause you to doubt the legality of such an operation. If there is no direct prohibition on carrying out such a transaction by the law of your state, then selling bitcoins in exchange for cash national money is quite legal action.

Probably legal, I do not see anything strange that could make such a thing illegal. Most of the answers here are also legal, meaning many think that selling bitcoins with cash is legal

If you transfer the money to a иank account, it all depends on the amount. The financial monitoring service gives the Bank instructions on how much money should be reported. If your amount is less, you can try to make such a transfer.

Whether is legal or not to sell BTC for cash is dependent on where you live and the type or regulations imposed on BTC by that particular country. In the UK for example you can have tax free bank accounts though up to a certain amount such as £20,000. So you can sell BTC for cash and then transfer to that tax free bank account. This is just a putative example, so it depends on the country you're in.

It's depends on the perception of the law on Bitcoin in your country. Everything is legal, unless your country imposes a law stating that selling bitcoin is illegal. If there is no law prohibiting it, then it is, therefore, legal.

Of course, it depends on the country you are living in. Most of the developed countries it is legal to exchange with taxes. But in others is not. the reason is government, that insert sticks into the wheels. You will get big trouble to do it.

Looking in what country you live.  If the law allows to transfer the crypt to the Fiat, then everything is legal.  First, look, read the laws of regulation of the crypto currency in your country, and only then think what you will do.

If it legal to trade with bitcoin and made transaction with it then it is legal to sell bitcoin for cash. Just like fiat bitcoin can be sold for cash to enable you buy some local goods which may be difficult to use bitcoin at a moment to buy. The exchange of bitcoin to other fiat made bitcoin more acceptable and real as for now.

I think it's common sense. If the use or usage of Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency in any country is illegal, then selling Bitcoin for cash is illegal. It's (selling) transaction where Bitcoin is used to get cash.

You can always make bypass of the system. It is the reality of nowadays. Like hackers are doing their job, you can make it for yourself.

Here in my country it is not illegal to do so. We can trade or sell as long as we want and it's the trend nowadays. It is a transaction deal between you and your buyer don't let anyone interrupt the deal, unless bitcoin transaction in your country is illegal.

As they say, it depends on the country you came from. If bitcoin transaction is not banned in your country you can do so. Actually it is not illegal to sell or trade bitcoin into cash as long as it is not illegal. My only advice is to be careful and be aware of the transaction so that you will not be fooled by exploiters.

I think legal if there are buyers who want to buy your coins and without coercion from you so that buyers are not harmed. and you can specify the price of the coin according to the market price. so buyers can pay according to the normal price according to the coin market.

It is perfectly legitimate to transfer your bitcoins to the Fiat.  Only with taxes you need to understand.  Does your country have sales taxes.

Well, here in my country bitcoin is legal which is also supported by our government but they are not a 3rd party. Having an apps which is coins.ph we can easily negotiation but I would suggest do it that can be trusted people which you have not to worry when you have a verbal agreement. Also, need a great assurance during agreement since it involves money which we need an extra awareness and be attentive always to avoid those bad people that might attack.
