If you take an out of the box approach look towards Putin you can see that he is probably one of the best strategist in the 21st century. He conquered Georgia, Chechnya and part of Ukraine without declaring war or causing a major world war. Secondly, he managed to put a more Russian friendly president into office in his biggest competitor country, the USA.

I am not supporting his actions but from a different perspective, he is probably one of the top leaders out there.
