It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I think some of the big news was just a step in the game yet.
Like some said Gazprom is cooperating with Waves.
Gazprom is huge but its only Gazprom Bank (which is partly owned by Gazprom).
And of Gazprom Bank its only the digital arm of it.

Burger King was great news and got worldwide media coverage, so thats huge even
if its just Burger King Russia for now.

What we have seen from this tho is that Waves got an excellent Leadership team
and great PR skills. Not many altcoins made it in the biggest worldwide news sites,
so thats a foot in the game, and if bigger news come I think waves might explode
more than Neo and ETH did.

It was amazing to be part of Bitcointalk for a little while. Thankyou. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5316241.0

The news just announced are just a line of a big drawing.

in my opinion waves are a long term thing.
it definitly will take time but in the end it will work out pretty good and push your portfolio somewhere over the rainbow

whenever price is "creeping down" that means people are slowly dumping, it is not a whales' work at all. it is usually the natural work of the market for each altcoin after they had a nice rally.

on the contrary when prices stay the same with high volume that means whales are buying in to pump it in the future. this is called accumulation.

So maybe here is a mix of both? I mean if all people were slowly dumping the price would not be staying at $5 for so long

I strongly agree
2018 is very likely ...
That's why we developed the project using waveplatform and hopefully its future is good.

All news will be priced sooner or later but whales can put it off for a while but it also shows that those news are not so important that they affect the price right now.
