Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
Maybe a week or a month..it really depends on the situation of the market movements..but i dont usually hold it for a long period of time.more often when i see a 20%-30% profit on my coin.thats the time i decide to sell it..its better to have enough rather than nothing. yes certainly do not have to get big profits in trading but how can get a consistent profit though on a small scale but maybe it is better. i think 20% profit is big enough and of course this is very risky in trading

holding a coin can not be determined for how long. but for myself the coins can be very long depending on how long the price of coins has increased. if the coin has increased in time fast it will certainly hold the coin in a moment as if the coins held up a very long increase would certainly long to hold.

I could not determine how long I will hold my coins, it all depends on the price movement and the target price when I want to sell it. When I put the target of 100% or more yeah, I should more patience for a few months.

Hold them for as long as you can. If you do not need to sell and the project is active and community is growing then keep it. You will be glad in a year. If the project is sketchy and not hitting goals then thats a whole other story. Buy and sell when the charts are good in that case.

Yes agreed with that as a trader you must hold it until you reach the target price that you have buy it then thats it after that you can now sell it dont hold for too long it all depends in situation so for that it is.

Definitely depends on the coin that I'm holding. There are coins that are worth holding for long term and some are just for short term so you should learn how to determine which is which. I'm also holding coins depends on the movement of the market then I'll decide whether to sell it or not.

I'm a long-term holder : since the crypto market is globally increasing, you will waste too much time and stress if you're constantly looking at the charts
I'll keep my coins at least 2 years no matter what will happend

It depends on your basis for holding. Some have set like 1 to 3 years. These are the long-term holders. If you want to be a short-term holder then 6 months more or less is already enough. But of course you still have to see the movements in the market. If there is a dip in almost all prices then it is advisable that you hold for another round so that there is still time for the price to rise back.

My strategy is to hold them until I retire or they drop out of the top 100 for market cap.

Depends on the coin. We have some coins that we pre mined in the first days of their announcements and some of those are a year old or more. The wallets take up nearly no space and we run through a spreadsheet we have of them and cross reference versus the markets every other day. I think that a year is about max for that, but it depends on the action on the forums, the exchanges and others things.
Regarding what you said about coins you premined. Are there websites that are giving or announcing currency that is about to launch?

Hello, tokenmarket and icotracker web sites are one of those web sites showing an ico calendar to you. I'll hold my coins for 10 years if they don't die. I know it's a long time, but if I can achieve this, I can make huge profit at the end.

Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
I assume that it depends on an individual. However, what I usually do is wait until I make profit and then sell. If I bought a certain coin when its worth was higher, and few days/weeks later the value begin to fall, I won't sell it if I am loosing, I will hold on to it until it recovers and then sell. I don't usually prefer to loose. However, some investors might use a different approach.

Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
depends the trend and coin.im not really into day trading but if i see price rasing i just join and let go after profit %1.5 to %5 If you just profit for 1.5% will you not be losing money because of the fees? in my opinion, I'll save coins into a secure wallet for a long period of time so that it will get huge profits and wait for the right time when the price of the bitcoin in movement and growth market with high prices, but for the moment I will keep at least reached some btc in the end of this year

I hold for very short time. I am only in for quick profits. So I prefer to invest into speculative coins. Holding makes me really nervous.

Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
Well, trading is really unpredictable as coin's dumps and pumps happen all the time. I think by trying to put a margin on the loses or profits you'll get will put you to a most optimal lose and gains. I suggest researching where you would invest your coins and be as patient as possible when they experience dumps. Try to find the reason why is that happening and trust them as much as you can. Many beginner lose their cool and try to sell their coins when there is a big dump happening. For a trader, you must not panic, what you should do is to wait more days and watch how things will go. * I hold my coin as long as possible. When I think that I reached the highest possible value I can gain profit of of that coin, I'll sell them all right away and try to wait for other coins so that I can invest again. My rule is that, when I think that the dump on the coin is so unreasonable, I'll find the cause and predict what will happen, from there I can try to keep on holding it or sell it when the loss is still low.

When you are active trader, you need to work hard to make a profit since you have watch out all value overtime Let's compare if you're an investor, just stay still and wait your bitcoin profit grow after 1 year just like many years before

this is about what you want to do, not how long to be held or sold. but more on the strategies and plans you run. in trading and two concepts, long and short. you need to use strategy and have a strategy.

I do not trade for altcoin and bitcoin. I just hold a few coins and of course bitcoin as well.
if you want to trade. you must have a plan and strategy, you can trade on a short term basis, or you trade in the long run. all there is a method you can find reading on how to trade. I think you should do a lot for your understanding and knowledge.
