I don't understand why china will go against bitcoin as to prohibiting bitcoin exchangers in china. That country rely so much with digital payment and most people there are widely using cyptocurrencies. One thing they should do is just regulate exchangers and don't ban it.

That could be the case... that much is at least certain.  The outright ban isn't etched in stone yet, but it has been penciled in let's say.

a lot of bad news circulated a few days. china forbids ico and it affects the exchange rate of bitcoin and all coins. even new today changer in china close their booth. and increasingly makes the bitcoin price drop dramatically. and reportedly again about malaysia which he said follow in the footsteps of china. but not to worry this all must have passed.

I think the problem of China with exchanges isn't the exchanges or Crypto-Currency itself, they want to have control over every business and everyone on their country. If the exchanges pay tribute to the government or if the exchanges belong to the government there isn't problem at all. Seems China is the first experience of a country government trying to have control over Crypto-Currency, we can observe it and watch the consequences.

It was really quite a surprise news from China. As we all know that they are bitcoin friendly. But in just 5 days, two negative news coming from them is no good for the market. I see news that they are not totally banning ICO but will put regulations instead. So I think they should do this for the local exchanges there as well. Let's see if they are going to change their decisions.

Thanks for the information that you have provided in this article. I still worry about BTC will dump in the future, there is so much information detrimental to BTC from China. I hope not to dump BTC below $ 4000, so I pray.

4000 is still very high. If china fud persist, it can go much lower than that. But of course there is an upside to that. You can buy cheaper bitcoin when that happens.

To OP, just hold tight. This is just a manipulation to shake off weak hands. Hold on your bitcoin, it will recover very soon.

when I read this news had a part of the text that made me laugh and I decided to copy and paste here:

" Prices had recovered through this week after the impact of China’s ICO ban waned in record time.

From lows of $4008 Monday, Bitcoin regained all its lost ground, only to lose half of it once again as of press time.
"

hahahaha

it seems that the journalist who wrote this article was disappointed with the price of bitcoin

We can't avoid that mate things are possible but never to worry just keep your coins in hand never to do some panics let the fluctuations moves and make those pressure be felt by the weak holders, think of bitcoin as an asset that you can hold for future gains.

Fake news.  It seems to be recovering back pretty fast.

For some ignorant assed reason, bitcoin always reacts when China reacts, despite the actual news (this is more an ETH issue by the looks of it). the enthusiasm is always enough lately that the dips get brought back up, usually beyond previous levels. people need to actually read the news, and do diligence on the source, and the information they are trying to disseminate (use multiple sources). Im wondering if its smart to buy the delisted tokens, as eventually, unless eth keeps going down they should recover.

China timed this in a very interesting way, I must say Wink

In the last episode of "China bans bitcoin........"

The same old story, China bans bitcoin or something related to bitcoin, whales sell, people panic sell, whales buy, China does not ban anything, price rise up, rinse and repeat.

Can anyone tell me what is happening to Bitcoin? BTC price from 4660 dropped 4k1 and still continues to decrease, investors and trade as I'm feeling very confused. Give me some advice right now, so I can calm down.

I wouldn't call this a dump yet. A drop of a 400 is only around 10% which isn't a huge drop compared to the big increases we've had lately. If the price drops below $3000 I might just start to get a little worried, but we aren't there yet.

Even then, I would see it as a good time to buy more Bitcoins at a cheaper price. I think the price will still keep rising over time.

You should buy more as we are currently in the deep. The bad and fake news from China this morning cause the price dump. If you have been following cryptocurrency markets then you should know that  this people always bring panic into bitcoin and others cryptocurrency markets in other to manipulate coin price and most times do this to proved that Chinese is still in control of the market. The exchangers has deny ever received such directive from governments.

Well you have a point a good opportunity to buy more btc. Actually this is the normal happen in btc market the dump and pump price. And yes there is a panic selling happen with regards to the news of China. But for me I believe the price will recover even with the little dump happen.

ICO ban is actually not that bad idea. I agree that it is a bit extreme move but in the end it will be the best option for old coins like Bitcoin.
When people will realize that ICO fast money schemes are no longer an option they will face all attention to Bitcoin.
This will effectively strengthen Bitcoin's position - traders instead of ICO will buy BTC/LTC/BCH/ETH
