Im just months in joining cryptoworld and really find this drop in bitcoin worrying. That was almost $500 drop in less than a month. For a moment I thought it was the end of bitcoin and I was thinking how unfortunate I am joining bitcoin when it was a sinking ship. Then I started to read news in the past about bitcoin dump and read in the threads in forums and finally see that this is not the first time this happened. In fact, there are numerous times but if you look bitcoin rate now and compare it last year, even with those so called dumps, it is still holding on today. So I think its still good to invest in bitcoin, but do not invest in what you can't afford to lose.

I think I need a break from this forum, its getting so hum drum. Buy the news sell the rumour, add some FUD and dabble in FOMO.... The good news for seasoned investors is, at times like this, just wait for the weak hands to panic sell and buy up all you can on the dip.

How many threads are there.... price up, "its heading to $5000", price down...... "why the dump?".

If the market corrects another 10%.... good times for the buyers.

Yeah I might take a break from this forum too. Seeing all the FUD and panic is really stressful, especially that the FUD is coming from irrational individuals.

I'll definitely hodling and will buy more BTC if it goes below $3000.

But for now, it may be time to watch a movie and just enjoy the weekend. Just relax guys, we will moon again.

It's a panic selling in crypto world.. Good chance for new investors and also buy more Bitcoin at the cheap rate soon it will be going up.... China is also a main cause of bitcoin dump but I think soon it will be recover.

The dumped still on its way down maybe we need to be prepared if the value falls up to  2500$ its not impossible since rumors and news about closure of exchange from China still got a lots of traders to panic and sell their holding it's not a good time to play now just assess and wait for some good rebound.

First reason is China exits the exchange sites And another reason is J.P.Morgan.
He declared Bitcoin as a fraud.
I do not know what happen next, Just wait and see. Hope BTC can Overcome this poky situation.

Maybe some are worried about the price of bitcoin now but, on the other hand, some are enjoying it because they can finally buy more bitcoin because it is now at very affordable price.

For me, it's my time to hold and if there's a spare money to buy bitcoin i will surely buy some for in the next few days it will back to the normal price.

Welcome to the world of Bitcoin.  Old timer here does not worry much about this bitcoin price dip.  They find it an opportunity to buy more and increase their stash.  Remember Bitcoin enter this year at around $1k  and the current price is still far from reaching that price again.  I guess this will end once whale is done with their accumulation Smiley.  You will see price will skyrocket back to where it is once whale signaled the end of accumulation phase.

Just remember what Bitcoin did after hitting $1000 the first time, now we see a correction after it hits $5000. Nothing is strange.

*Yawn*

Wake me when it hits $3k
It can go even down, here we find a lot of threads who are making panic. Please wait for a week and see the rates since this is not a new thing for Bitcoin dropping prices.

Can anyone tell me what is happening to Bitcoin? BTC price from 4660 dropped 4k1 and still continues to decrease, investors and trade as I'm feeling very confused. Give me some advice right now, so I can calm down.

Bitcoin is dying all because of the negative news coming from China that Bitcoin exchanges will be banned from doing business in there...and in fact there is already one exchange that announced of their closure in advanced of a pronouncement from the government on the matter.

Now, the big question is this: Should the whole Bitcoin community allow all of these development to massacre Bitcoin continually until it would be floored into $1 in value? Or should we not unite around Bitcoin and show the world that we can have one voice in not allowing any government to determine the course of cryptocurrency?

Unfortunately, the whole Bitcoin community can also be in panic.

Just like what you've read about the news that china banned ICO of tokens, that is why bitcoin's price is affected. Many people sold their tokens because they don't want to lose more profits, they did panic selling resulting to this scenario. But we all know that after this, bitcoin's price will PUMP again and we are going to have another ATH price of bitcoin.

I'm just going to hold my bitcoins though, I don't want to panic because there is no reason to panic, it is just normal scenario, but I know this issue will be solved as soon as possible.

Just wondering what's happening. I've been reading some comments here and it shows the price dropping of BTC.

Is it the final sign for me to invest in bitcoin because of the low price, i am more being serious of thinking about investing.

You are right! You should buy some while it's low because it will be going up again 100%. And down again too, but they're becoming less intense.

It's like a good time to buy bitcoin if you ask me. But dumping it? That's a big NO! Just give it some time and bitcoin will rise up again.

If you believe in Bitcoin, then buy now in the dip. It's what, still up 400% year to date. Show me another investment like that. Ride out the storm.

Yes the bitcoins are falling down. And that's because people continue to sell their bitcoins. And that's called panic selling. For that reason they do not want to lower the value of their bitcoins and prevent the gradual loss of their money. That is why it has a huge impact on the price of bitcoins
