I am presenting a speculative idea and a conspiracy theory and here it is: China is planning to kill the whole of the cryptocurrency market starting with the biggest of them all Bitcoin and all the rest will follow. In fact, there is a detailed plan being worked out on here and it started with the banning of all ICO projects...next is the ban of all Bitcoin exchanges and soon all citizens of China having Bitcoin will be imprisoned for 20 years (only 5 years if the person will surrender his Bitcoin to the government for possible burning).
Do you think am I hallucinating due to the "shabu I bought coming from China? Or am I only making some predictions that has more chance to come true than playing in lottery?
Please tell me what you think...and let's have some fun!
I've got a counterquestion: if China is going to kill cryptocurrency, what are they going to do with all those biggest farms located in this country? Are they going to simply destroy (or re-sell) them? I don't think your predictions will ever come true, especially the part about imprisonment - as this may lead to riots and eventually to revolution.

I dont agree with your opinion. There are huge bitcoin mining pools in China. And i don't think the Chinese government would want to ruin the bitcoin miners.

Maybe situation will go like this way, prison for bitcoin use isn't somethinf that you have to laugh, yeah, it's highly possible because of some reasons: It's anonymous and decentralyzed. Is anonimity something that any government wants? No, a big no. As we see one country already started from encryption ban, then china will repeat the same + adds bitcoin and etc. But, this may not happen too. Why? Because everyone knows, if they deny this, there will always be another way which will be 100x hard for government.

As I read the awe so scary plan of China, the only people affected by this plan is the Chinese citizens. They could always leave the country and move to somewhere they're allowed to nvest on crypto currency. If this plan was successful, i think only China will suffer it's effect when everyone else arr on crypto currency.

The Chinese government can prohibit the crypto currency in their country, but it can not affect the circulation of bitcoins and other crypto currencies in other states, especially in those where the crypto currency has already been legalized or should be legalized in the near future. I do not even know how to kill bitcoin from the position of one state, if bitcoin is distributed via the Internet and has no boundaries for its circulation.
Exactly. As we all know that bitcoin is going to be more and more flourished these days. Also some countries have accepted bitcoin for payment, and some maybe accept it in the near future. Generally bitcoin had the talk in most parts of the world. There is no doubt that China has been trying to impose a ban on bitcoin, but definitely the number of people who is in China taking part in bitcoin market is quiter bigger than another countries. However If China want to interfere in bitcoin and eliminate bitcoin out of the world, probably Government will never have his goal accomplished. Anyway, China’s action just has a slight impact on the entire market, thus I think you’d better delete this hallucinating idea out of your mind suddenly.

Another conspiracy theory and scary scenario with aim to spread panic, nothing else. How could one government "kill" Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and prohibit to be used all around the world. This makes no sense at all. Some restrictive regulation could be introduced, that is true but that can't supress fully something that is virtual and without any boundaries in the cyber space.

but i don't think there are many like that, i think it's possible that they are big investors who are willing to leave the country of China. for those who only have small capital, of course they choose to surrender

No one can "kill" a decentralized cryptocurrency unless people and investors stop supporting it. China is already open to bitcoin after one of their court ruled in favor of the cryptocurrency. Strict regulations can only prevent people from buying or selling bitcoin temporarily but it won't stop people for looking some alternative exchange to buy cryptocurrencies. The so called conspiracy theory is often use to sow doubt and spread panic to the people even it is not true or not yet proven.

It's impossible to kill something that too transparent, having it decentralized makes it unique, China might create their own crypto but not to the point they'll eliminate bitcoin.

From my own perspective these Chinese government can prohibit the bitcoin currency in their country even in other countries as well, but it can not affect the circulation of bitcoins and other crypto currencies in other ares, especially in those where the crypto currency has already been legalized or should be legalized in the near future. Im not positive how to kill bitcoin from the position of one area or another but one this if for sure that if bitcoin is distributed via the online and has no boundaries for its circulation this will be a good market for everyone.

You can kill a bitcoin by killing its network if the miners stop supporting it. A hardfork is the other way to softly kill the bitcoin as what did happen this week when the majority of the miners shift momentarily to mine BCH fork against its rival BCH SV. Since China dominated the bitcoin mining industry and control the hardfork, then it has the power to shut down half of the bitcoin network that it might almost kill bitcoin network.

ICO projects should be banned, countless investors lose, and these projects do not meet the investment value, which is more like gambling. China cannot kill Bitcoin, and anonymous coins cannot be killed. Banks cannot be supervised. In the future, governments will accept cryptocurrencies.

this will not gonna happen not only china can be the destruction of the bitcoin there are so many country's that supports bitcoin including the one of the most wealthy country korea and japan they are supporting this coin until today so this theory can't be happen.
I agree with you. Crypto has spread all over the world, it is now impossible to destroy. In many countries still crypto banned countries, there has been no damage to btc. And it is impossible for China to be the only one. And if China has tried to do this, then certainly China will be hit.

Yeah this is really happening because china has banned already the crypto airdrop and declare it as ICO fraud where developers will give your tokens in the form of airdrop where one could make some interest and will eventually buy them out. And after that the team will receive funds from the people and will just eventually run away after receiving some amount of fund from the people.

That’s the shabu talking, lol . But I have seen someone say something similar to this on Quora, but he wasn’t really talking about China or saying that Bitcoin will end. He said that there will be a big bull run this coming year and after that Bitcoin might not see another again and new form Blockchains different from what we have now will take over. Can’t really tell he was saying exactly, wish I can copy it and post here but didn’t remember to save the post.

No government can kill cryptocurrencies. If you can kill the cryptocurrency, it has long since disappeared. Blockchain and cryptocurrency are indivisible. So this must be fake news. In fact, the government will also covertly purchase cryptocurrencies.

is the statement valid, try to give me accurate evidence, or is this just your prediction, bitcoin is already known and attached to the Chinese community, too reckless if the regulation is implemented, there will be a strong reaction and lengthy debate, has the Chinese government considered its impact , at least that decision will complicate the state of the country's economy, because there will be an increase in unemployment, at least that is the first direct impact

It's already been banned in China but Bitcoin still remains the same. On the other way around, China is also a powerful country which they have also some well-experienced programmers that could possibly be probably make their own cryptocurrencies. Our technology nowadays can almost do the impossible and some are already been proven which is the birth of crypto's.

I do not think that. I think you have a lot of negative thoughts about China. Currently there are many Chinese trading floors and many wonderful Chinese altcoins. It is working well and generating considerable profits. You should not be so worried about this.
