Vouches are far more likely to be whitelisted, so most staff would be happy to take the request. However, only a handful of staff actually check the whitelist thread, so vouches are better sent to a staff member directly. First, check if one of the
global mods are online. If not, try one of the
many staff, giving preference to the specific newbie forum mods (currently psy, SomeoneWeird, MiningBuddy, and tysat).
I don't recommend doing that for general whitelist requests (although John will take those directly, too), but for vouches it should be fine.
