Hi Miners,

I have a question, we are a small group of miners located in Europe, due to the high electricity cost we decide stop mining, also more and more
people around us stopped recently too. Now we are building a simple website that maybe this week or next week will go live to sell the USED miners.

Antminer S7 4.73 th/s Miner with power supply more then 25 available
Antminer S9 13.5TH/s  Miner with power supply Limited

We are thinking to have 2 different payment options.
1 pay in full with BTC With free World Wide Secured shipping with DHL (we will give an extra 5% discount)
2 Pay shipping fee of 30$ upfront for World Wide Secured shipping with DHL and the miner you will pay up on delivery to DHL.

All miners will of course be tested before shipping and shipped within 2-3 days after order is completed and buyer will receive tracking number.
All miners will get 2 months full warranty from us.

Now the question is, what is a reasonable amount we can ask for these miners, not too high but also not too cheap, what is the current market price
for the USED miners with power supply in US$

If had read good, i am not here to sell them here, it can be purchased on the website later when it is live, and because of much scam what is
going around we decided to give an option to pay shipping fee of 30$ upfront and the miner at DHL up on delivery.

Now , the reason i came here was to get some advice for the market price for the used miners, of course as mentioned they will be tested before
shipping and will be in good condition

For a Newbie to be selling miners off of a website they have just created can be is a red-flag in the world of buying miners. Many websites that purport to sell Antminers are a scam. Your "web site" will be looked at in that light.

Also, for you to say *you* are offering a full two-month warranty on the hardware sounds a bit fishy. How old are the miners? What batch? Are they still under the very short warranty from Bitmain? Are you going to be paying repair costs out of YOUR pocket for two months? Hmmm...

If you want to sell them - if you really have the hardware - you must contact one of the trusted sources on this forum and arrange escrow.
Otherwise, your choices are put them on Ebay or Amazon where the buyer will have some sort of payment recourse if the miners never show up for whatever reason.

P.S. I'm not a "newbie", I'm just posting under a new account I created from work so I can post on the forum.

I would never pay 3800 for an s-9

but here is the deal if you are real  and got them from bitmain  you paid under 1500 for them.

So if you sold them at 2000-2200  with a real escrow  you would make 500 on each one.

I think people would buy  them at 2000-2200 fast  if some one escrows.

you would make over 500 a unit.  So even if you don't want me to escrow and find a legit escrow.  I think 700 -800 a s-7 and 2000-2200 a s-9 makes you money and sells gear quickly.

You are in a good spot if you have gear.

It's the hardest to begin, once you've sold to someone and that person receives the miner, you'll get some more forum trust and will find it much easier to keep selling. Good luck!

Why keep on talking about escrow i am not planning to sell them here. and DHL is almost same like an escrow, if paid on delivery it takes up to 10 days before we received the payment. but again, i did not open this to sell here but simple to ask what is the market value for a good working

cause  no one will buy without an escrow from a good escrow person and If you use dhl as escrow  it does not work.

DHL doe not let you open the box  power the gear up and get a hash rate then say okay pay us.

So  only a fool would trust that system.

escrow allows 24 hours test  then funds release.

So you want a price  for your method  which has zero protection for the buyer.  It only assures you get a box from DHL.

I would tell buyer  100 bucks and if it works we will send   you 700 more for the s-7 and 2000 more for the s-9

you would come back and say  no way the buyer can rob me.

you would be right the buyer could rob you.

but using DHL  the seller need only send a box  with some weight in it.  So your way the seller could send  weights in a box. Better yet the seller may have dead s-9's

and could send a dead s-9 or  a dead s-7 ..   I have 1 dead s-9 .


MY point is  if you are legit  and have working gear.  you would have zero problem using an escrow. DHL does not allow  a hash test before you pay.

solution for both parties.
This is how we will do it with the fees.


s-7 with power supply = 700$ + 1.5% Escrow fee + 0.001BTC TXT fee + 30$ shipping fee paid upfront (max 2 miners per box)

s-9 with power supply = 1800$  1.5% Escrow fee + 0.001BTC TXT fee + 30$ shipping fee upfront (max 2 miners per box)
