I did some reading, and i have no idea why my 580 armor won't go above 23 mh/s, while my 570armor can do 30 mh/s

It uses Samsung/Hynix (1: straps K4G80325FB (SAMSUNG) timings and the 2: straps are H5GQ8H24MJ), simliar to the combination for the Nitro+ variants, i used 1 click method on PBE v1.6.6 from jaschaknack, the strap used is

I reinstalled the Beta blockchain driver.

Still 23 mh/s.

Anyone know why or how to resolve this issue? or i'm just stuck with 23mh card?

yea pretty frustrating, because the same method works for my rx570, but 580 refuses to cooperate :<

im having a hell of a time with some xfx rx570's 4gb and was wondering if you can take a look at the bios. Most of the ones i have have elpida. Using Polaris editor 1.6.6 im getting some to do 29mh while others can only do 27mh stable.

I have tried copying different straps, anoraks bios etc. I have also tried different drivers from the august blockchain to the newest adrenaline and getting the same results.

You using SG Miner, or what? I can push my Sapphires rx 470 to 950-960 Kh/s XMR, but they throw a lot  of errors, so I keep them at bay with 850-900 Kh/s...I also need to keep them around 100W, so, for me this is the hot spot....

He's got MSI cards, they're quicker than Sapphires even with the same brand or VRAM.

Post your BIOS and I'll mod it, then you can test it and see what changes I made if it works good. Alternatively you can D/L some of the mods I've already posted and see the changes there.

hi thanks, but i figure it out  .

I have no idea why this is the case, but now it's doing 31mh/s, all i did was uninstall the Beta blockchain driver, and installed the newest one from amd and enable direct compute.

Now i need to test rx 570 see if they like the non-blockchain drivers, they were giving me 30 mh/s on blockchain drivers.

I'm modding 1 at a time on work computer before putting all of them in a rig.


EDIT: Would there be a chance that, 570 will do 20mh on the adrenlin driver?

I run my miners on Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit, Windows is not an appropriate mining platform.

I've successfully converted an MSI Gaming X RX480-8GB (Samsung) into an RX580 for use with the new Windows Adrenalin drivers.
