So I am interested in trying this namecoin thing but I am having a bit of trouble even just getting it to start up. I'm trying to run the client in Windows 7 and use the gui miner for bitcoins as the miner. Is there anyone who can give me a clear, step-by-step guide on how to set this up in Windows 7 or will I just have to run a Ubuntu VM?

This has been haunting me in Win7 as I keep getting error messages when attempting to follow the online guides.
