I thought of building a computer rig to earn bitcoins... At present i have a core i5 processor and 1 high end graphics card.. i am thinking of putting six (6) graphic card in it... I have already canvass in AliExpress of the adaptors or extension to pput the additional 5 graphic cards... And it only cost aroung 4 to 6 dollars each... What do you think... I also have a 800 watts power supply.... What are your thoughts....

That's a good decision also mining has alot of expenses MONTHLY so adding more rigs makes the bill more expensive and it will take maybe 6 months (not sure) to get your investment back. So still mining is a serious thing.

You should look into mining other coins with that setup. Bitcoin mining's been dominated by ASICs for years now.
Look around and mind the electricity costs, too.

Why are you asking Newbies or Beginners? You should be asking people that are well versed in mining. There's a mining board on this forum, you'll find the link here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0Ask specific questions and you get good, targeted answers. Good luck, man.

In my opinion it is a very good idea. You have good equipment, I hope equally good IT knowledge. One of my friends also started with such activities. Now a lot of it is gaining.

Dont bother with BTC, LTC or DASH. ASICs rigs dominate the market and you will not make a decent profit for the effort. Look into mining altcoins like zcash or others you could earn a decent profit if rates stay the same.

Maybe you should ask this question in the mining board. Probably you would get more answers there than here. The power of the processor for mining is less important. The most important are your graphics cards. On the Internet, you have several services that can help you to calculate what would be profitable for you. Electricity costs can be quite high. My RIG is new and according to the current trends, my ROI will be minimum 10 months.

800 watt power supply wont be enough...my rig has 6GPU's with 1200w platinum power supply...because U need stable sistem which will not crash andit will work 24/7...with weak power supply U will have problems...or connect less GPU's on that power supply...

Don't think you can make anything mining BTC these days sadly. At least not with the setup you have.

If I was you, I would be searching for more profitable altcoins to mine, bitcoin difficulty is being increased, and even with the price increase, it is still doesn't worth to mine even if you have free electricity, at the same condition you can just mine altcoins and get a better profit.
Usually new altcoins are being traded for a bubble price, because no one can really state how much they really worth, and also there is a less amount of miners, so the Electricity you need in order you mine 1$ worth of the currency, is usually a lot lower then mining bitcoins. You should be checking it out before building a rig because different coins may require different rigs/asic.

I would suggest you go with ASIC Miners. If you google a little you will find some best ranked ASIC Miners that will give you a better experience.

That is not a bad idea ,but i think your specs are too low to even earn you something, cos at end you will pay electricity bills.it is ether you get quality graphic cards not a card N.B........ OR a you find a better lending site.because like what some of the members said mining is very difficult these days

I would look into cloud mining, only the trusted sites with actual plants. It may save you more money in the long run.
