Hello Everyone ,
So I just got my new mining Rig up and running .
I got a GTX 1060 6GB https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JHQT1SE/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=espressomac0d-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B01JHQT1SE&linkId=d94223f90e447f346c16da85ff223f8b
and a Ryzen 3 1200 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0741DN383/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=espressomac0d-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B0741DN383&linkId=76a2fa679258c4b9fe2f0c123693f158 (pretty expensive CPU I know ) , I'm getting about 19 MH/s on miner gate (its an
extremely simple GUI ) mining ETH , and about 600 H/s mining Monero . do you think its pretty standard? can I somehow optimize my GPU to get better performance ?
BTW I'm using UBUNTU and I have installed CUDA too . if you think I should use a different miner or a different pool please let me know .
I'll be happy to get some useful starting HINTS.  Wink excited  Smiley

Yes, if you are just learning about mining, Minergate can seem appealing, but the miner software they use doesn't give you the best performance, and there are many fees to get your coins out of their system.  Nicehash is a better alternative to use until you are more comfortable with setting up your own mining software to mine to your own wallets or exchange wallets.  The more you read here, the better you will get this comfort, but in the mean time Nicehash is very easy to setup, just run the EXE, benchmark your system, and Nicehash will choose the most profitable algorithms for your system, and then pay you in BTC.

Minergate or even Nicehash will cost you dearly in excessive fees. Profitability is already way down and fees are really going to start becoming a major factor as time goes on. I would suggest researching and using a low fee pool as well as using a miner that charges 1% or less in fees.

Ethermine.org and Nanopool.org are two solid pools that only charge 1%, but keep an eye on the minimal payout settings too so as not to incur additional withdrawal fees. You may need to mine a little longer to reach a payout threshold that does not incur a fee, but both these pools offer the option to select the payout threshold in their settings.

You will need to do a little more work on your end as far as sending the coins to an exchange and trading, but in the end you will also keep more money in your own pocket.

Umm seems a little low. Make sure you have the best miner out there. Also, overclock your memory more if you are not:

Seems like you are right where you'd be with stock settings.
