I'm just wondering is there a a crypto algorithm that would be highly optimized even better then scrypt for opencl/cuda or even CPU calculations so that it would be very hard or unprofitable to make an asic for it.

Us, eMunie, GPU or asics will be impossible to take advantage of it.

You need CPU, RAM and IO bandwidth.

I don't think pure CPU-oriented algorithm is a good idea.
We should make use of excising hashing power of thousands of rigs thrown out of bitcoin mining by asics.
