The web based eth version; okay... but I'm not so sure about installing a program to my computer for such a thing. I tried it on virtual and Windows defender flagged it as a threat (which it actually does to many programs even if not a threat) but it still scares me that it might be a keylogger, screen capturer or some sort of trojan shit. How can you trust these stuff (if you are not the actual creator)?

You simply don't and if you really want to run it, you do in a virtual machine.

Not your keys, not your coins!

i have actually tried on ethersecret and have found a few "non-zero" accounts.

However when i try to check the address on etherscan.io or the keys on mew, it shows a zero balance and zero transactions.  Anyone have a reason for this?

Thanks

Noticed a similar phenomena.

Green appears and then it vanishes.
Or it shows and then indeed nothing there, not even a trace.

Made me wonder if it's a glitch or if this site is not an utter waste of time.
In my exploration my findings seemed a bit like bait.
A few incentives to keep the searches going.

I think they do that on purpose.

Realistically it appears its not even close to that easy to actually find a "non-zero" account.

Looks like green accounts appear on purpose to keep you searching.
