I think Altcoin that good to hold for long term is DASH, LTC,XMR,Lisk and Waves . These coin has big potential because good in fundamental and their team founder & developer also professional.

In my opinion, the most suitable coins for long-term storage are LTC, ETH, WAVES, XEM, XMR and NEO. This is a strong coin with a strong product and team. This is not advice to invest, it's just my opinion.

Xem/NEM would be the best candidate for coins to hold for long term. Read and seen a couple.of news and I think they are working on something great for the future. It is the most stable coin by far out of the other coins when bitcoin had a hardfork and split, its price didn't go as low as the other altcoins.

There are a few altcoins which I would love to recommend to you which might benefit you after a few years, consider investing in litecoin, dash, monero, monaco, bancor. You might as well consider buying neo, qtum or omg, I personally don't think that the Chinese ban will affect neo or qtum in any ways.

One of my favorites is Waves, they are in a good position on the Russian market and I heard theyre going to have some nice announcements in the next couple of month. I am not going to sell my waves before next year. Because waves is a nice underdog that is going to perform very nice in 2018!

A good altcoin that you can stock in large quantity in long term is waves. I suggest waves because this particular coin is undervalued right now. It is also the one that has most potential right now because of the updates it had undergone in the past. It is also quite stable in it's low price right now so it is a good time to accumulate waves.

I agree with that i see waves have a great performance in 2018 so better to hold for now but i dont see it for a longterm if there is more good performance that waves to see maybe i would probably hold it for another year.

I don't have an idea to what are the specific coins to hold for long term but in my opinion it is good to hold at least the top 5 altcoins in the market because they already built a good trading volume and a good progress for their coin and if you are planning to hold them for long term then you can have a chance to earn money from them.

I prefer to be stored in ETH looks safe, because the nature of the system from eth is not directly controlled by humans and the situation of the coinya movement is quite stable.

Well aside from etherium and litcoin, i'd probably gamble on holding a lot of ripple as well. I don't know why it's moving steadily at a lower rate and has been doing so for a long time already, i still think i'll reap good dividends with it come a year or two.
