Other than being an ethereum like coin, what other plans do you have for this coin, a road map to see the project will be advantageous for your project. I see there are 3 main features that you highlighted, 0 difficulty bomb and 20 % less rewards every 10 Million blocks , I also noticed no POS implementation ?

It is certainly the case that nowadays most ICOs and coins have long lists of fancy roadmaps/whitepapers. Being in this field for some time makes me realize that I'd better only advertise the value of what has been implemented and working rather than what is planned for the next year. So no, probably there will never be an "official" roadmap. Being a coin with no premine and no contentious hard fork also means that it is totally owned by the community and people can do whatever they want with this blockchain.

Personally, I want to try out some dapp ideas such as the community-wise blockchain governance model using Ellaism. Those ideas are usually hard to get implemented on ETH/ETC due to its huge number of premines.

There will not be any contentious hard fork, so the coin is likely to stay in PoW.

This is how i set up my node,  any assistance or review would be appreciated.
   1. I down loaded parity and let it execute then start syncing then shut it down
   2. downloaded and copied the   Ellaism.conf file and place it in C:\Users\CryptoSamuri\AppData\Roaming\Parity
and C:\Users\CryptoSamuri\AppData\Roaming\Parity\ethereum folders cause i wasnt sure which one it went in
   3. reran parity and let it take me thru creating an address
   4. stopped it one more time
   5. I couldnt get the start.bat file to run so instead I went the long way
   6. opened a cmd prompt (admin)
   7. entered the command cd C:\Program Files\Parity\Parity
    8. entered" parity.exe --author "my address"  which started parity running  the system wouldnt recognize --chain ellaism.json when i ran it this way (am i even on the right chain)
   9. opened http://127.0.0.1:8180/#/accounts in chrome  which is where it now says 78.31% warp restore 6/25 peers
10.get the error - unable to reach time api: ntp error; ntp server is not provided. make sure your clock is syncronised
sorry if this is kind of jumbled this is a first for me ive delt with the premade wallets but never had to do this so thank you for you assistance and guidance

You will need to provide the full path for "ellaism.conf" file. So if you put it in "C:\Users\CryptoSamuri\AppData\Roaming\Parity", you will need to run "parity.exe --author <author> --chain C:\Users\CryptoSamuri\AppData\Roaming\Parity\ellaism.conf".

The error means your clock may not be synchronized. See your system's time settings to make sure of it. If you are able to sync the blockchain, I think you can ignore that message.

Mining a block has the base rewards 5 Ella. When you mine an uncle (orphaned block that does not go to the longest chain), you will get a relatively small reward. By including uncles in a block you mined, you will also get rewards. That's where the 0.469 comes from.

Is there a way I can transfer the parity wallet Ellaism to myetherwallet?

Yes, myetherwallet works on the Ellaism chain. But there's not much benefit than using the Parity wallet. Compile myetherwallet from source, open it. Then in the network dropdown choose Add Custom Node. Insert your local Parity RPC address "http://127.0.0.1" with port "8545". Select "Custom", "Support EIP-155", and in chain ID, type in "64".

If what you meant is to use the same address for your myetherwallet account, then you can just import the private key into your Parity client.

i think its best to wait abit on the exchange, let the coin and community settle and grow that way when you hit the exchange it will be strong and they wont know where it came from but they will be in shock and hungry for the coin. If you put it on now with not that many use cases that are different that ethereum it will be labeled a copy and that is a hard name to shake. Of course it is a replicant of ethereum but when we hit the exchanges we can show how the differences in community, the fair distribution, the no contentious hard forks make this coin not a copy or replica it is a transcendent replacement Or so thing like that.  So that bring up a question i had since it a community coin then that means voting and committees and  meeting, how are we going to bring those together. If we could form a community action system that made the decision process fast, effective and absolute that alone would have us miles ahead of bitcoin im sure above ethereum as well. Im noty as verse and experience in ethereum as i am in bitcoin.  When you think about it having effective community action system would place us above the majority of the governments as well. when you have two people witrh two idea and only one available  slot to place those ideas you most likely going to have war. Well that what we willl be telling our grand kids when they ask how communities solved things before Ellaism community action system had brought peace and tranquility to earth  Wink

Also is avg hashrate correct on http://stats.ellaism.org/ ? This coin should be interesting whenever it does hit the exchanges.

Helps would definitely be appreciated for the "community action system". Cheesy As long as this action system does not apply to consensus rules and we follow the principle of no contentious hard forks, I think everything will work fine.

You will need a HTTPS endpoint, though, if you insist on using myetherwallet.com but not downloading and run locally. There will also be a public node set up around two weeks later, at which time myetherwallet.com will have the HTTPS endpoint needed.

You can check the difficulty. That is a good indicator of the current network hashrate.

Indeed some fields on the stats are not moving, so might be incorrect. I'll perform an update to the server soon where things may get fixed and we'll also get a block explorer. For now, at least "best blocks", "uncles", "last block", and "difficulty" are correct in the stats page.

This is a network problem. Usually they're hard to debug, but I guess the easiest way is just to restart your client.

if were able to vote on what channels to have i would prefer discord over slack , Slack just always seems so disorganized. It seems much easier to manage channels and chats on discord. If you want I can set up a discord channel if you want just let me know the type of sub channels you want and any particulars yu may desire that way you can try it if you are dead set on slack then thats cool as well but i think you might like discord. Then there is always telegram which is ok. i think we should maybe have an installation video cause its a little different getting this up and running compared to other coins. I could most likely do it if you want i have the screen capture software I believe. If that is something you want me to try and do just let me know know i have a week or so with some extra time since i lost my job and im procrastinating getting a new one. if you do want me to do a short video just review the steps I put up earlier of how i iunstalled on my window computer to to improve or tell me something you think should be different.
