blockchain.info - very simple and intuitively clear wallet. Also there's an app on the App Store and Google Play.

You can use blockchain.info for storing your bitcoin. This is one of the best popular online wallet that everyone is using. You can also trust xapo and coinbase but with xapo the fees are higher now compare to their free service before when transacting. Coinbase is a good one too.

I used blockchain.info when I was a total noob, but honestly, don't make the mistake of developing the wrong habit. Once people become familiar with a GUI, they become too lazy to leave that interface and keep delaying moving their coins into a more safe local wallet.

My advice is to keep your coins in Electrum, it's fast to install and easy to use.

Once you have a good, considerable capital invested on BTC (let's say $10,000+) get a Bitcoin Core node and support the network, because you are supporting your investment by doing so. It's in the best interest of all holders to run Bitcoin nodes.

Tried with blockchain however it isnt accepting my payment. To do transaction more than £50 it says I have to do it via bank transfer. But it wants some details such as photo of some id such as driving license. Is this safe to provide?

My advice is also Electrum.
blockchain.info is very useful, I don't deny it, but for a newbie it can lead to problems. Two of them are the phishing (the site is too well known and it's a target for phishing every now and then) and the disconnections (now and then they get disconnected from the network leading to a lot of confusion from newbies).
Also the main rule is to keep your money in your own wallet. Be warned though to keep your computer safe from viruses/malware.

if you are going to keep high amount of bitcoins, i advice you not to use online wallets, the are not too safe, i prefer use online wallets for little and fast transaction for keeping use desktop or paper wallets, they are more safe.

good luck...

Blockchain.info online wallet is basically the best online wallet you can use although i recommend you use electrum as the size is small and provide more security thanks to the private key and others options compared to online wallet.

I haven't had any problems providing such info before nor have I really heard of anyone having any issues so I would say you're good to go ahead and proceed.

I just used Electrum wallet. They are very lightweight and you don't need to download the full nodes to be able to get it to function. You can also change fees as well. For me this is the best wallet beside the Core and Blockchain.info. Of course with Electrum, you have the control of your seed. So in case, you can recover your wallet. Just be careful and store your seed somewhere else and have it printed for safe keeping.

This is what im using now.I would choose Electrum than on blockchain.info and yes its lite and you wont need to download all blockchain. The thing i do like on this wallet is that you can able to get your privatekeys. You can import too but this thing would depend on op's preference since we do have different taste when it comes into things. He must try blockchain or electrum and select what wallet suits him.

One of best online wallet is Cryptonator - https://www.cryptonator.com/auth/signup/101003475, so in this wallet you can use Bitcoin with very fast confirmation time ( sending and receiving BTC & altcoin addresses are not the same in this wallet !!! ), but also make instant exchanges to/from various altcoins - ETH, Doge, Monero etc. And you do not have complicated sending/receiving, like with Blockchain wallet.

Never get trading advises from strangers. And never invest what you don't afford to lose.
This being said the numbers differ greatly from person to person and the answer is irrelevant.

What are you predictions for future?

Some predict even $500000 for one BTC in the next 5 years, but that may be too much. Or not.
Some predict that Bitcoin will fall badly in less than one year.
I can't really tell which one is right; I would like to know myself...

1 last question....have you heard about anybody loosing coin value in the online wallet?

Losing.. value? The coin value changes from second to second wherever you keep it. If you count in USD. But you don't mean that, don't you?
Wallets should not be "leaking" Smiley, I never heard of that. Just you have to check for transfer fees. Every transaction costs money and you have to add that too into calculation.

Cryptopay.me and Bitwala.io are some other online wallets that you may be interested in:

- Cryptopay allows you have an account in dollar, euro, GPB and Bitcoin within the same account. You can transfer from/to your own bank account as well to have a Visa card.

- Bitwala has about the same service (Bitcoin wallet, Visa card, buying/selling your bitcoins from/to your bank account). One of the main advantages about Bitwala is you have your private keys and there are not a lot of wallets offering this feature, which is a very good point.

Both are user-friendly, simple to use and have an efficient support to their users

Blockchain is a bitcoin account providers site that can say the most popular. Most bitcoin transactions by bitcoiners use a wallet from Blockchain. We can also see a list of other bitcoiners accounts on the homepage of the site. Simple view and user friendly make this site a choice of the bitcoiners to open a bitcoin account.

If you are newbie than try either coinbase or blockchain wallet because they have user friendly interface.

But if you like to hold your bitcoin for longer time in secure way than use electrum as hot wallet and paper or hardware wallet as cold wallet.

What are you predictions for future?

Many have told that for the next 2-5 years we will see bitcoin stable at $10,000 and it can even go $50,000.

1 last question....have you heard about anybody loosing coin value in the online wallet?

Value of bitcoin? I not only heard it but I experienced it and saw my bitcoin's value is falling but it's not losing. Because the price of bitcoin is unstable, is this what you mean? Btw, have you ever chose your own wallet now? Answers are just repeating with coinbase, blockchain.info and electrum.
