Hi has anyone heard of Proxy Card? Its a new app where you can spend ethereum by tapping a card to your phone using the NFC function. You can link to your existing ethereum account or create a new one.

Yup I have very much heard of it and I think its a good concept. There are already companies trying to do a similar thing if not the exact same thing they are atm and those include

Tokencard (TKN), Monaco (MCO), TenX (PAY), and Pluton (PLU). So this is nothing new, but I do think that they can be successful in this space nonetheless

Are developer on this forum? Could you post their web link here. Works only on phones? Idea sounds good just that there are already other similar projects around. Would like to go through details

If it only works on phones, there is no way they can compete with Monaco or TenX.  Also it would be good to know how far along the project is... first mover advantage is huge and TenX/Monaco are already rolling out.

I thought proxy card is more like a 2FA NFC card which aim to simplify the process of entering password? Not sure how this is competing with TenX in the same area?

It's very interesting if it actually works out it would be pretty big. I'm actually thinking of investing in one but not sure which one yet, probably TenX

There are many ICO's that work with it
but i think the NFC thing is not safe
so they will just work like normal cards
