Hello!

I am from Austria and in my region, some new company is going around.

Please check the site optioment.com

Can that be true??

I did some research an found out that they are listed on

http://www.badbitcoin.org/thebadlist/

I wrote to badbitcoin.org and they told me that it's 100% a ponzi scam.

But because they don't want to tell me they way of research they do, they couldn't give me any proof or didn't even really explain why this company runs a ponze scheme.

Please tell me your opinion!

Thx!

I'm invested in optioment and can tell you, that I get my profits paid every 7 days.
I chose the investment plan with 70% reinvest.
For this plan it's necessary to invest at least 1 btc.

i highly can recommend this investment!

If you are interested in optioment pls send me a message.

I would love to see you in my team.

Omg ! This is the worst scam they could ever implement.
How could you male any profit if you give 7% bonus on refs ? And a 2% interest fee.
The website requires to register before you invest, but they don't have SSL certification. So basically I can wireshark all the accounts.

Yes they still payout. As any Ponzi does. Until they dont pay out any more and disappear with all the funds....as any (perfect crime)Ponzi...
Just make a whois on their domain: Anonymous hosted...that says everything!!!

Just think clear without greed-that makes blind...
How can someone give you 2% a week and some percentage to the refs?
They must generate more that 150% profit per year.
Thats impossible for any investment fond.
Especially with a trading Bot...the old lie of many HYIPs .

And now they give 4% a week as I heard.
That means the collapse will come faster...

I guess they collected more than 30Mio USD- maybe already around 100Mio USD !!!

The collapse will be huge!!!

Quote
What is a Ponzi Scheme?

A Ponzi scheme is an illegal business practice in which new investor’s money is used to make payments to earlier investors. It involves a great deal of risk. If you invest in Hyip/Ponzi you risk to lose your money. Experienced HYIP traders usually know when they should take the money out from the program before it closes.

Another important factor in estimating a program’s risk is an average lifetime of similar program. For example a program paying 3-4% daily using a professional unique design and well advertised can last at least for several months. It can still be safe to invest in it during its first or second month. However, investing after the program that has been online for over 3-4 months may be very dangerous. Nevertheless, programs paying around 1% daily may last for much longer time, even for several years.

You see-Optioment does not pay high interest rates-compared to other HYIPs- and they receive huge amounts of new money.
So the can exist maybe even longer.
But nevertheless its a PLANNED SCAM. THEY WILL DISAPPEAR WITH ALL FUNDS...as soon as theres less cash coming in than going out.

Better dont promote scams. You will get dirty hands...

The profits are not this high! 2% a week is definitely possible over long term.
Optioment has a btc-pool of about 35000-40000 btc.
The profits come from arbitrage trading.

The referral bonus are paid from the reinvest. Not from the profits they gain.

Yes, they offer 4% per week till 20th of november. But therefore they use no trading bot. The 4% programm is based onl cryptotrading with traders in denmark.

I got my referral comissions paid every time. I already got my investment out, so it was definitely a good investment for me.

the programm works for more than a year now and seems to work longer.

It looks like you advertising you website badcoins. Don't fool us here in bitcointalk.

This seems to be the new method for spamming ponzi sittes. The owner of the site will post links to their websites asking the forum if they were legit, knowing fully well they are not but hoping to snare a couple of gulible "investors"

If you did actually tried to read up on the link it is not actually a ponzi site but a list of those ponzi being listed there the main thing here is that they somehow advertise on the site that they do mention just pretending that they are asking but on newbie minds will really fall specially the greedy ones. 2% on weekly basis profits is too big and too good to be true which is really a scam.

Believe me, I don't need any referrals.
Somebody wanted to know, what others think about optioment.
I shared my experience. That's all.

I personally think, that everybody has to know on his own, what programms he will invest in.

Do you know what arbitrage trading means in reality?

I did arbitrage trading for some time and gave it up, well manually, but anyway, its always the same problems you face.

1. The higher your investing amount is, the less your profit in percentage. You kill your profits through highvolume orders. The orders themselfes manipulate the prices not in your favour.

2. The txfees and withdraw/deposit fees are high. Btc-transfers last at least 1h. Prices at arrival at another exchange are speculative.
You can keep funds at the other exchange for avoiding waiting time and exchange rate risk. But then you even need more fiat in your system.
More fiat at exchanges means a very real higher risk and less percentage of return for the invested fiat!

3. Turnaround of cash is at least 3 working days. The money you need has to circulate. That means if there is an arbitrage of 2%. Minus the fees you have ~1.5%.
Withdraw of Btc( lets guess its for free-which it is not). Then your coins arrive at the other exchange. there you sell them hopefully not with loss. But you pay again exchangefees. Now you withdraw fiat, because at that exchange prices tend to be ALWAYS higher than at the first exchange.
This costs also fees and lasts maybe 2 or three days.
Then you deposit Fiat at the first exchange.

If we guess they use 40000BTC, that means a value of 240Mio USD.
So you have to withdraw every day ~80Mio from exchanges.
Commercial Fiat transfers are not for free.
At any exchange you would have problems with AML-Policy if you operate anonymous from CostaRica or Austria or anywhere.

Just for to give you an idea: Bitstamp has a total daily volume of 80Mio Euro.
And Bitstamp is one of the very biggest exchanges in the world.

THE IS NO ARBITRAGE CRYPTO TRADING BY A SINGLE COMPANY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WITH THIS VOLUME!

I believe Optioment made already tons of coins. But not by arbitrage trading and trading robots.
Simply by collecting and keeping the coins.
If its not what I believe, why they dont show what they are doing and keeping and who they are?

4. Theres a risk that exchanges are hacked or closed.

5. Administration costs something.

So to summarize it: you need 4times the amount of fiat to gain once a day 2%.So in fact you earned only 0.5% a day.
Still there is high risk.

In Reality you wont earn reguarly 2% a week. It is less.

With speculative Trading you can earn much more but the risks are also higher.

THERE IS NO FOOLPROOF HIGH RETURN WITHOUT HIGH RISK

Next thing is the magic trading robot:

Again, the higher the volume the less you can trade against the trend.
In the end it is similar than playing roulette.
Yes you can earn something. But you dont earn huge percentage on a regular basis. That is simply a myth!!!

The 2 or 4% guaranteed is only possible through a Ponzi.

If its not like that, why they dont show their trades? The would not be much more rich as they are already, rthey would be GODS is any trading world.
But somehow they stay deep hidden in the shadow...

In good ETH-token based blockchain investment funds you can actually see and verify the investments that are done by the fund.
Transparency! Blockchain is made for that! take Taas as an excample for a transparent fund.

Only Scams hide everything. Even the owners identity.
Someone collected thousands of BTC with promises....come on guys...open your eyes and you realize, a new Madoff has appeared...without showing his name.
I call that a perfect crime.

Im invested with Optioment for some time now. My friend who told me about it and he personally knows the owners, they are Austrian fellas. They are not hiding their faces, they frequently attend crypto conferences all over Europe.

In response to somebody saying that they are not showing their trades, they actually do. You have to be logged into your account to see what their past trades were.

They guarantee you 2%/week because they make much more than that on their trades.

And 2%/week is not really that high in comparison to, let's say BitConnect or Westerncoin, where you get 1-1.25% a day. So Optioments is really quiet sustainable. Now, I'm not saying that they might not want to shut down and disappear with their investors' money, which is always an option. All i'm saying is that they don't have to because they are making money on arbitrage trading, and not relying on new people coming in.

Optioment has been good to me so far, and I can't see it disappearing in the near future.

Anyway, this is only my subjective opinion. Enjoy your day! Smiley

Optioment and similar systems are all Ponzis.
Yes they hide their faces. Domains are registered anonymous.
Tell me please the registered company name and  Address.

Its a well known scam. You will see the day they stop paying out!
The lower the payout interest rate, the longer they can exist.
Optioment pays relative low percentage so they may exist longer than others. But they will disappear. With all funds!

MLM-System
Arbitrage Trading
"Guaranteed" high returns
Trading Bots
Long investment times, no immideate withdraw
Forced "Reinvest" percentages.

All this are well known warning signs.
Dont give anonymous systems without real, confirmable  business or revenues your money.

Dont invest in that.

To all victims in Germany, there are lawyers who do already work in the optioment-scam-case:

Es gibt Fachanwälte die sich mit der rechtlichen Seite des Optioment Betrugs befassen.

I am very sure there never had been any trading or arbitrage trading or trading bots.
For SURE, all Coins were from the very beginning on, only used for living a luxury lifestyle of the founders.
It was a planned scam from the very beginning.

I am 100% in agreement with your posts. I am also convinced this was planned from the beginning. Another Bitconnect scam, same Ponzi with some changes. The three Musketiers now blame an unknown person in London who was apparently the head of the scam. Utter BS.

If you do some digging in their YouTube videos (if still available) they originally claimed arbitraged BOT-trading on Russian and Ukrainian stock exchanges. That is rubbish, anybody that knows a little bit about arbitrage trading knows there is no free lunch. On top of that, how in the hell were they supposed to facilitate their interest rate payments in BTC while trading in FIAT currency, let alone the withdrawals in BTC, with BTC rising to 15K? Disaster had to strike.

Of course this Ponzi collapsed. Once they realized, this thing was coming to an end sooner rather than later, they changed their story and suddenly they claimed arbitraged BOT-trading in BTC on their new website. But that is impossible!! This does not exist, by the time the BTC has moved from one exchange to another and back, the rate is very likely completely different. It was all a pitch and it collapsed.

It is amazing though how so many people, despite warnings, went for this. It clearly demonstrates when greed & fomo are in the room, people are retarded.
