Decentralized Ethereum Mixer?

I was wondering if there is something like a decentralized Ethereum / Bitcoin mixer.

There's been talk about decentralized CoinJoin for years, but in practice (like most decentralized market solutions), there is not much liquidity to adequately mix coins. But there are real world examples of CoinJoin being used (see https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/CoinJoin). Blockchain.info used to have a Shared Send feature (not as private as CoinJoin, because the outputs don't have the same value) but they unfortunately removed it a year or two ago.

I'm not aware of much effort to organize CoinJoins in Ethereum. I haven't even heard of a reputable mixer. There was a service called WeiMixer being advertised on the forum (centralized mixer), but I think it's a scam.

I've heard of CoinJoin too, but it seems like that went nowhere. TumbleBit (payment hub compatible with Bitcoin) has been really hyped a lot -- supposedly totally anonymous and does not require any major protocol change. Unfortunately, I haven't heard about much progress there. Stratis has released an experimental TumbleBit server as of July; I'm not sure how successful it is.

Coinjoin "works", but just doesn't have the volume to work correctly, do i understand that correct?

Idea looks great but there is not enough incentives for the one who will launch this platform also I don't think there will be much interest among investor in ICO for such projects.

We (Privcoin) support Ethereum mixing now as well although our liquidity could be higher for that coin.

Decentralized mixing sounds really good but its too good to be true. If you want to make anonymous and decentralized transcations, there are better options in the market like XMR, Zcash and Dash.

Nobody really uses eth so I don't think there any buddies put together one of those. You could probably transport back out to another coin like that going to has Mexico use on it use that extra in the transport back in if that's what you really wanted to do. Mixers services are mostly for bitcoins and we dont have any ETH mixer services popular now.

I wouldn't say that "nobody uses ETH" considering that its network consistently has more transaction throughput per day than Bitcoin. For a number of fundamental reasons, I prefer Bitcoin to Ethereum, but there's no denying that the network is heavily used.

Since you quoted it, nobody should send any coins to Weimixer. It's a scam site that got some exposure from a signature campaign on this forum. They are just stealing peoples' coins.

I'm not sure about decentralized mixer, even if it possible, is there someone or a team want to develop it? require huge amount of coins obviously.
