It is expected that Boris Akimov (BioCoin) and Anatoly Radchenko (UT) will have a joint announcement  about the going forward cooperation at the conference.  As Boris Akimov said, “We know how the world where people live in harmony with the environment should function. We know how to grow organic products, how to make something very tasteful from these products( hooray, yesterday the chef LavkaLavka was named Chef of the year.) We know how to build local communities and develop territories with the help of local food. We do know what to do so that all the values that are important to us would get additional impulses for development with the help of blockchain and biocoin. However, there is one “but”! Farmers are not trained for trading and have no experience with exchanges, so that support of few thousand traders from UT would be very timely and helpful for us! BioCoin is planning a tour in the countries of Asia. We are planning meetings with investors and businesses that have already joined BIO platform or are about to join. It will include Singapore, Indonesia, China. One of the particular special features of this expedition is that it’s organized and executed solely for biocoins. This tour is a perfect example that platform and tokens are starting to work and not only in Russia. The flight was arranged for biocoins by our platform partner, BPO agency (www.bpo.travel), accommodations in Bali are organized by yet another BioCoin platform partner, hotel Bondalem Beach Club (http://bondalembeachclub.com/). In China we will hold a presentation of BioCoin and our Far Eastern farming invest-project with the participation of our Chinese BIO partner Fusion Group and with support of API (agency for attraction of investments), founded by the Ministry of Far East development. And for some inspiration we are taking a small particle of our new partner, a box of amazing Polugar (bread wine). Together with our colleagues, masters of distillation processes, we have developed a new way of biocoin integration with real business. Though we can talk about it next time. BioCoin has been closely cooperating with API (Agency for attraction of investments) of the Far East. And soon the geography of the agency will be expanding to Tokio as there will be a representative office of the Far Eastern agency to attract investments. Russian Ministry of development of the Far East will hold an opening ceremony. It is expected that this event will happen before the end of May of next year. The representative office will be working with the Japanese investors that are interested in work in the Far East. Let’s note that currently there are similar representative offices in Pekin. There are plans to open few more representative offices in the beginning of 2018, particularly in Shanghai, Harbin, Mumbai, Seoul.

When we say that BioCoin was created for development of the green economy, what do we really mean by that?

Here it is, for example, the US Ministry of Agriculture held their regular populations census (it is held every 5 years.) The final report has not been published yet, however here are some interesting numbers surfacing right before publication:

-average age of an ordinary American farmer is getting closer to 60 years,

-from 1992 to 2012, 250 thousand small and mid-size farms closed and 35 thousand new large ones opened; land consolidation seems to be in progress,

However!!! And that is BioCoin’s world:

- number of young (under 35 years) farmers has been growing for the second time in the last 100 years,

- from 2007 though 2012, there have been almost 2400 new young farmers entering the market though about 100 thousand older farmers aged 45-54 left the market,

-in some states there has been over 20% growth in the number of first time farmers (California, South Dakota, Nebraska)

-69% of young farmers went to college; that is a much higher percentage than the overall indicator for the total country’s population,

- young farmers are well-educated, they leave cities, they become first time farmers, they have not been raised in farmers’ families,

-young farmers are not inclined to use pesticides/herbicides, they are oriented for the organic products, 

-they start with small farms (50 acres) and they usually extend their territory while becoming more experienced,

- lack of start up capital and access to funding for equipment purchases are main factors thwarting progress.
