Has anyone tried one of these? Here is a link to the info on it... http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/power/PurePower/w0130ru/w0130ru.asp Seems like a cool idea if you have a power supply from an older system and don't feel like dropping a $100 to upgrade to something that would run 2 cards.

Given that a Corsair 500w power supply runs around $60 and will run two of any cards that thing will run, I don't really see the point personally.

I don't see the point either.
Running a second PSU means wasting more power - and that one only states above 75% efficiency. I personally won't use anything without 80+ certification these days.
