From wikipedia: A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator generates returns for older investors through revenue paid by new investors, rather than from legitimate business activities or profit of financial trading. Operators of Ponzi schemes can be either individuals or corporations, and grab the attention of new investors by offering short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. Companies that engage in Ponzi schemes focus all of their energy into attracting new clients to make investments. Ponzi schemes rely on a constant flow of new investments to continue to provide returns to older investors. When this flow runs out, the scheme falls apart. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

I would try to explain it in my words, although I found a nice explanation from Investopedia( it is written in a more understandable format then the Wikipedia one), and you can have a look here: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/ponzischeme.aspTLD;R, mainly, a ponzi scheme claims to be a legit business, but offers large amount of gains, in a short period of time, with literally no risk they usually claim that they get the money from X source, when they really get it from other people's investment. Sounds too good to be true right? Usually the ponzi schemes pay at the very first months, but after less people are joining, they have no funds to give as a "profit" to early investors, so they just run away with the money. It acts like a pyramid.

i used google but Not Know what mean By Ponzi scheme and how used
From Charles Ponzi, a ponzi scheme is a fraudulent act that attracts new investors with a promise of a "to good to be true" return of investment. The money collected from new investors are used as payment from earlier investors. The scheme needs continous investment and funds would soon dry up if investors would stop coming.

According to Bernard Madoff a Ponzi victim, Ponzi schemes are a kind of pyramid scheme with the promise of large returns as bait, the fraudster takes in money from new investors and uses it to pay off the earlier investors until no more new recruits can be found and the whole scheme collapses, with the newest investors losing everything.

There are so many websites nowadays that are having this ponzi scheme saying that they offer cloud mining services and then promise to pay fix interest that is too good to be true. Because of bitcoin's popularity, they are using it as a way of scamming people and many are enticed to invest into it and later on when they cannot get their money, they spread the rumors that bitcoin is scam. Many are newbies who are just greedy and doesn't research what bitcoin is all about. Some pay at first to attract more investors but later on, they would just be gone along with all the investors money and those who entered late would not even received a single penny.

In the investment side of things it is someone gives you money in the act of you investing that money for them. instead you spend the money they gave you while paying them back when newer people give you money to invest. in short person A gives person B money Person B spends the money for personal use. They then pays back person A with a new person C money. bernie madoff was a popular known figure who did this in a high volume.

These links given has it all which do simply define on what is Ponzi. If op did able to make some google search he would definitely able to see how the system works which turns out these kind of schemes do end up on becoming a scam in the end because this kind of thing isn't sustainable for long term because not all days there are new people would able to join a certain investment which means they cant really sustain paying out older investors and thinking off that Ponzi sites do offer huge returns on a short period of time this is why greedy newbies do always fall on these kind offers.

Ponzi scheme are those scheme that promise you that there are going to pay you huge amount of percentage on your investment that seeing unrealistic. Most of the Ponzi scheme do not last for long and the owners do run with investors money. For your own good op I will advise you to stay far from any Ponzi schemes and safe yourself from great financial crisis in future as this has the capacity to make you poor in no time.

The ponzi schemes are those high yield investments platforms that promise unrealistic percentage of return to investors. It is a very risky kind of investment and it is not advisable for your big investment portfolio. I have lose money in many of them and I will advise people to actually stay away from it especially if you did not have enough knowledge on how things work in ponzi.

You don't need specific or too much knowledge to understand how things work in a Ponzi or in any of these crap sites. They "pay" their shills and promoters with others money and then take the rest and vanish. Simple as that.
It doesn't matter how much they will get, free money is free money despite the amount.

Think bitcoin, is nothing much different , many people will argue with me, but the truth is that bitcoin is the perfect example Why do you think Bitcoin is Ponzi? It is not a pyramid scheme and after you purchase you not forced to recruit under you anyone else. Then how it can be an example of Ponzi scheme? No one is forced to buy bitcoin but people think that its usage in future will increase so they are interested to buy bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is not a Ponzi.

As pointed out above. The only thing that matters in a ponzi scheme is "The money collected from new investors are used as payment from earlier investors." You can frame it in any numerous ways but that is the end goal. And i believe someone said that Bernie Madoff was a victim...? He was the perpetrator of one of the biggest Ponzi schemes ever in the US, stealing billions of dollars from the wealthy and poor alike. Watch the movie, I lived it for too long working on wall street.
