Glad to see things are coming along on this project.  Wink Big shout out to Nathen for working hard amidst the controversy. Excited to see where this is in the next month or so.

Just started mining this coin. First transaction from pool was 3 hours ago and have around 50 confirmations but my windows wallet still showing me zero balanse. When i can see this on my wallet?

Hello can you check if your wallet is synced with network, go to Settings and Show status , then Status command.

Should see like this block height over 56671

Height: 56671/56671 (100.0%) on mainnet, not mining, net hash 66.88 kH/s, v4, up to date, 6(out)+0(in) connections, uptime 0d 20h 35m 47s

I'm mining on http://superiorcoinpool.com and my wallet is synced

Can you verify the address you are using is same as wallet. Also you can PM me your address to double check.

While the FB page for Superior Coin is informative - IMO, it also lacks any deeper look at things...I'd like to use this forum for starting that discussion if one exists beyond my observations.

First...I find it a bit unusual for a coins discussion to only be in the mining section - as this coin has plenty to be discussed. As someone who put a tiny amount of Bitcoin into this "idea" over 6 months ago - I won't re-hash the endless drama that damaged the potential for the coin - but again..find it a bit unusual that the drama in the previous bitcointalk page isn't linked to ...to make sure folks are fully informed of their potential investment. That said, I respect the decision to drop the drama unless one is obsessed to find the crappola at this point via search.

But that is past.

Personally I've already taken advantage of the offer for those who want to sell their ICO coins on the https://kryptonia.io/home exchange - and can verify it works and one can then transfer the bitcoin to any outside wallet (with a 24 hour delay). As with any market, I have no idea who bought my ICO coins or any of the other couple thousand of dollars worth by many other sellers - so importantly, perhaps, someone is buying the developing coin from prices ranging from about a 1/2 cent USD to a penny. That can be seen here by paging down the page https://kryptonia.io/option#sell  - that said, it is quite glaring that no sales of significance have occurred in the last few days, perhaps they are waiting for the exchange to be finished...indeed...it's worthy of asking will the internal exchange be finished before the listing(s) on a public exchange? ...and what's the update for that..seems things are shown on the Facebook page about paying the exchangeS...yet no update lately on this, folks are antsy .....both reasons are possibly the reason the sales seems to be grounding to a halt (or is it the complicated formula for when someone has access to their coins?)......it's also worthy of pointing out a couple things about the "vote"area of https://kryptonia.io/home#vote - it purports to allow one vote per day per question...I've found that isn't true at all...you get to vote once on each and once only - there is NO daily vote. And, the idea of giving those votes "weight" based on how many coins someone bought and hold via the ICO is hardly "fair" (is someone who bought 1000 coins for 12 bucks worth 10 times less than someone with a 10000, I doubt it, let alone compared to those who hold millions) and has produced some entirely unrealistic expectations IMO...such as the result shown for "what should the lowest price be on Sales Of Holdings" - with 4 to 8 cents USD holding the vast majority of vote power. (who has the chance to set any minimum price on any exchange too, what a strange question?)

What dream are voters living in? (again coins are selling for less than a cent...except for a few small sales priced higher - which begs another question...are sellers so dumb to not break their offerings into smaller packages...right now the lowest priced ICO coins being released for sale require a buy in of hundreds of dollars, that too might be limiting sales) --- waiting for someone to bite off a 1000 dollar wall is hardly a good place for action.

Likewise...the vote "timed coin release question" IMO is suspicious...one vote, based on this methodology, could be what holds the power...is that fair not showing the real vote total too (?)...it seems to make it all obscure on a coin that should be transparent at this point of time........ anyway...I think a discussion about the unique 6 to 10 month release is worthy of discussion here and on the FB page (could it actually produce real value?).

Finally a couple more suggests and observations - I'd suggest to those wanting to sell their ICO coins - to sell in ten to 50 dollar chucks, something more palatable to new investors or strong ICO holders and  believers, - not 800 dollar chunks, if one looks realistically at the coins for sale, it is just a fraction of the total ICO.. lots of folks WANT to hold..however....https://kryptonia.io/home#all-task also is in dire need of a marketing strategy 24/7 - I don't profess to know exactly what that would look like...but if the value of this coin is to largely be based on an exchange of tasks/coin value - then the Superior Coin team should be aggressively being involved here to establish that basis (remember how steemit and  paypal came into existence...basically, gave away money - in steemit's case the early adopters were so well compensated that it created word of mouth...checking out blog posts for a penny or less is unlikely to cause a stir.)....one last thing...IF a real market can be established (ebay products and amazon products) via payment in Superior Coin https://kryptonia.io/market - as is I assume that plan..one should be promoting when this can be expected and talking it up in conjunction with much enhanced tasks.
You have done some homework on this I can tell and you have some interesting ideas.  I have been hanging back letting things play out and settle down and they seem to have.  So I am back checking out what we are doing.

An excellent effort at obtaining business backing has being achieved, congrats! The mining is working fine. Looking forward to exchanges being available for seeing this coin grow from strength to strength. Moving forward on Kryptonia a chat area would be welcome to enhance the community development and ideas.

Voting system was a good idea given everyone the opportunity after the upset endured to say what they feel is fair. Going forward I suggest voting ideas be put forward in a similar manner on the site where you can gauge the feelings of those involved with the coin.

Tasks have worked superbly, not enough players taking advantage of the task system, perhaps a short video or two on Facebook (if it must be that - would prefer Steemit via dtube) to explain would assist new players as to what tasks are and how they will be able to advantage their own entrepreneurial endeavors.

Superior Coin

Launched on July 1, 2017

v1.0 Release - (07/01/2017)

Features:
Untraceable payments
Unlinkable transactions
Blockchain analysis resistance
Adaptive parameters

Pool Info: http://superiorcoinpool.com
Blockchain Info: http://superior-coin.com:8081

Summary

PRIVATE, SECURE AND SCALEABLE
Superior Coin is a secure, private, untraceable currency. Unlike many crypto currencies that are derivatives of Bitcoin, Superior Coin is based on the CryptoNote protocol and possesses significant algorithmic differences relating to blockchain obfuscation. Superior Coins main emission curve will have issued about 1.5 billion coins to be mined in over 30+ years. Superior Coin protects privacy in three ways for all transactions on the network: 1 ring signatures hide the sending address, 2 RingCT hides the amount of the transaction, and 3 stealth addresses hide the receiving address of the transaction.

WHY PRIVACY MATTERS
Superior Coin daemon uses the original CryptoNote protocol except for the initial changes (as the block time and emission speed). The protocol itself is based on "one-time ring signatures" and stealth addresses. The underlying cryptography is essentially Daniel J. Bernstein's library for Ed25519, which is Schnorr signatures on the Twisted Edwards curve. The end result is passive, decentralised mixing based on heavily-tested algorithms. However, several improvements were made which covered the proper use of ring signatures for better privacy. Specifically, "a protocol-level network-wide minimum mix-in policy of n = 2 foreign outputs per ring signature", "a nonuniform transaction output selection method for ring generation" and "a torrent-style method of sending Superior Coin outputs".

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Superior Coin features an opaque blockchain (with an explicit allowance system called the viewkey), in sharp contrast with transparent blockchain used by any other cryptocurrency not based on CryptoNote. Thus, Superior Coin is said to be "private, optionally transparent". On top of very strong privacy by default, such a system permits net neutrality on the blockchain (miners cannot become censors, since they do not know where the transaction goes or what it contains) while still permitting auditing when desired (for instance, tax audit or public display of the finances of an NGO) Furthermore, Superior Coin is considered by many to offer truly fungible coins. In Short giving your view key can allow some one to view your transactions with out being able to access your coins.

Superior Coin is powered strictly by Proof of Work, but specifically, it employs a mining algorithm that has the potential to be efficiently tasked to billions of existing devices (any modern x86 CPU).] Superior Coin uses the CryptoNight Proof of Work (PoW) algorithm, which is designed for use in ordinary CPUs.[32] The smart mining forthcoming feature will allow transparent CPU mining on the user's computer, far from the de facto centralization of mining farms and pool mining, pursuing Satoshi Nakamoto's original vision of a true P2P currency. Superior Coin has no hardcoded limit, which means it doesn't have a 1 MB block size limitation preventing scalability. However, a block reward penalty mechanism is built into the protocol to avoid a too excessive block size increase: The new block's size (NBS) is compared to the median size M100 of the last 100 blocks. If NBS>M100, the block reward gets reduced in quadratic dependency of how much NBS exceeds M100. E.g. if NBS is [10%, 50%, 80%, 100%] greater than M100, the nominal block reward gets reduced by [1%, 25%, 64%, 100%]. Generally, blocks greater than 2*M100 are not allowed, and blocks <= 60kB are always free of any block reward penalties.

are there any news about the stolen funds? Has that dude been caught by now?

There are no stolen Funds. That was FUD by an ex-member of the TEAM.

What? I honestly believed that story... Well, then full speed ahead I'd say. I remember the story was somehow convincing I believe. Cheesy

what is Superior Coin market cap ?

This is a very rough estimate:

On Kryptonia.io, no one is selling SUP options for less than US$0.01/SUP right now.

There are 300 million SUP pre-mined (100 million was ICOed and most of the remaining 200 million is locked, releasing only about 900k per month).
There are about 57700 blocks, with block reward of 560 SUP = another 32.3 million SUP.

So 332.3 million total SUP * US$0.01/SUP = US$3.32 million market cap.

I think it will grow if dev is correct that two Honduran companies are partnering with SUP; once those partners are actually accepting SUP the value will only go up.  The US$0.01 price probably reflects some uncertainty about when that will happen, and what it will look like.

its possible to mining with GPU claymore cryptonote? have an error not accepting the address, sory about my english...
thanks

Are you using a GUI wallet address? You can't mine through the mining pool and get paid directly to a Kryptonia.io or https://the-superior-coin.com/ address (those addresses are shorter than the full GUI wallet addresses (but you can do transfers between the GUI wallet and the website wallets).

Hope that helps!

The number of miners has been soaring. Just in the main mining pool the number just hit 42 which I think is at an all time high.
It's clear people calculate that Superior coin has real value and major potential.
It's in a good position given it has all the benefits of Monero, but addition refinements like the ability to reveal your past transactions for auditing.

Which miner must I use on Simplemining OS?

XMR miner, there are several options. This is a cryptonote coin like XMR.

Here is a link to a miner GUI that does GPU and CPU https://github.com/TheSuperiorCoin/vf-cryptonote-miner.git

Compiled here https://github.com/UsernameVF/vf-cryptonote-miner/releases/download/v0.0.4F/VFCNMiner.Release.v0.0.4F.zip
