The only thing you can do to directly affect the price is buy more coins and lock them away to take them out of circulation. Less supply and unchanged demand would result in higher prices. However, releasing those coins back into circulation would have the opposite effect, as increase supply with unchanged demand would decrease the price.

In reality though, there's nothing you can do on a large enough scale to affect the price.

As a normal investor we only have the smallest chance to make the Bitcoin price go up or down, But there are the whale investors that manipulates the price of Bitcoin according to their will. Like just what happened few weeks ago in BTC and BCH, BCH price were being pumped and BTC price is being pulled down. That is how you manipulate the price of Bitcoin.

it wont make sense if you help out advertise bitcoin on some websites and social medias because majority of  people  are simply not interested on bitcoin and there were some people that sees and recognize bitcoin as a big scam or pyramid scheme. but it still up to you if your going to insists and spread the word bitcoin to the people around you.
