Looks appealing to me. No need to worry about raisers etc but another question arises - what cae you will put it into? Also, will 2,5 slot thick video cards will be ok in it?...

No way that motherboard is going to allow for good airflow with the GPU's in the slots. Ideally GPU's should be 1.5-2 inches apart for good airflow and cooling.

Exactly what I was thinking. I appreciate their intention but that isn't a solution

This needs to have a custom case. I'm not sure any rational case maker is going to make a case for this. Most miners I know don't buy cases, and a casemaker would likely not sell a lot of these compared to standard ATX size cases. It'll be interesting to see if it does indeed happen, but I don't think it will.

I run like 30 rigs outside a case, its not ideal but as long as u have airflow and exhuast its less of a hassle
its not like s9 and other asics have cases and those work fine

Needing 16x pcie 6pin inputs for power is a bit of a letdown. While they are designing for server psus (and it's appreciated), imo it should take 8x pcie 6pin and the standard atx power connector, which we can power with 1 pcie slot to pico psu. This forces people to use a 2400W or dual 1200W psu to get enough connectors, not necessary for Gtx 1070 or lower cards.
Money saved on risers will be spent on powerful fans to force air between the cards.

There is a similar motherboard being offered in China under Onda brand (D1800-BTC) with an already integrated CPU and only 6 additional power connectors (3 Molex + 3 Sata). Why 16 6-Pin connectors are required to run the board from Colorful is at the moment beyond my understanding. Probably they are meant to be used with the GPUs similar to the ones being used in PandaMiner.

I like it but it's too compact especially if you're running beefier 1070's or ti's. Gonna be way too hot. You'll need some hefty fans blowing right on top of that setup.
