AT101ET, I agree further verification would be required for a serious buyer. The pictures could be a starting point for the owner to show they have the item in their possession although it doesn't prove authenticity.
Exactly. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't personally buy a watch off an individual. Buying in store or online through an official dealership channel is best.
Unfortunately some of the fakes nowadays are very accurate and come with all the 'paperwork' with actual registered serial numbers.
