I don't think that there can be any stable altcoin and what is the meaning of investing in stable altcoins as it will never give you profits and investing in such a coin is a waste to time and money so if you want to make some profits then you should choose fluctuating coin to make timely profits.

Litecoin is reffered to as “silver to Bitcoin’s gold”, it is the crypto next to Bitcoin, although Litecoin is almost similar to Bitcoin, Litecoin has faster transaction confirmation than Bitcoin. It’s an alt coin that has a growing number of merchants who accept Litecoin esp. Chinese and very stable in the system.

No doubt LTC looks good at a moment but I am also attracted towards waves as it has a great team involved and with more development in future its price can go beyond our imagination and sounds a good place to invest some money in it.

Nobody can say this & that coin is stable if the coins are stable then you can not earn good money from trading but you can ask in thread what are the good coins then people can suggest you some good coins. In my opinion there are some good coins that you can buy & hold for long that are XRP, XMR, DASH, STRATIS, WAVES, ETC, LTC, LSK, SC etc.

Stability for altcoins is a relative thing. The very concept of altcoins implies volotility. It will take at least 5 years until the prices get exhausted. At the moment, to stable ALT I would take Litecoin, Dash

This is an article posted earlier today talking about more stable altcoins. Obviously there is less upside with coins like these, but I wondered what everyone thought?

https://medium.com/@chris.b.campbell/tired-of-crypto-instability-try-these-more-stable-alternatives-6cb4159bfcfc

If you are talking of stable value and rank then you will have your complete viewing at coinmarketcap.com for your complete details and stable trend referrence. But if you are asking if the value of altcoins are stable then we couldn't determine that because there are many kinds of altcoin that we have now and many more are coming. Altcoins have different path and characteristics therefore we cannot make their value a centralized one and declare it a stable or not. May you should ask what coin are stable?

There can be a lot of value in a coin that has volatility around a stable average price... this would be perfect for trading as you could almost guarantee great entry and exit points.

But if it has low volatility as well as a stable average then no, I can't see any point at all beyond using it as a safe haven when the whole market turns red. But if you're going to do that, then just used a pegged crypto such as Tether.

in my opinion, waves and stratis are the most stable coins in these conditions. Waves has a good decentralized exchange and has good future due to many icos shifting to its platform due to many hacking issues with eth platform.

Volatility is the price for the chance of gaining a profit. Using a "stable" altcoin (or a "stable" stock or other asset) will eliminate the chance to grow. But there are some alts (especially Verge, Monero and other coins that offer secret payments) that can grow even if most other alts are falling. Of course they also have their volatility.

After cryptocurrency banned in china all cryptocurrency at these time are not stable. some might drop down to the bottom. some might survive. Because of that no cryptocurrency has yet stable.Im waiting for the right time to buy some coins that i think good to buy. Coins that has community backup will live more longer than hype coins. Do more research and pick good coins to invest. Hope all going good at the end.

the effect of banning cryptocurrency in china is very high to the price of all coins. the effect will result in the unstable price of the coin.
may have to be patient in advance to be able to make the coin prices stable and can maximize buy and sell coins.

Don't fall for altcoins at a moment as anything is possible with its price in coming days and it can even crash badly so its a big risk to invest in altcoins right now so the best thing would be to invest in bitcoin as price is relatively low and in long run it will surely bounce back.

I would choose for litecoin, it is now cheap and has the potential to rise and double his amount. While litecoin is not falling so hard. It is actually gaining more growth.

Bitcoin is now falling we see that bitcoin today is at the price of 3800. It dropped from 4600 dollars.

Frankly, I think it makes no sense in stable coins. Why should I buy a stable coin if I can buy bitcoin with the hope of growth?
