Hello,

I received my miner from Bitmain's repair location in Commerce, CA. The original issue was one of the hashboards was not hashing.

I plugin and setup the miner when I received it, and there was a Socket connect failed: Connection refused error.

I went ahead and installed the latest firmware from Bitmains website. I installed the latest one. I also set my mining pool and configuration.
https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?pid=00720161126080548570Q2tDBXAH065D

When I do this, the socket error goes away and the miner seems to keep turning on and off. It runs at normal speed with all hashboards indicating red lights, with a blinking Green Normal light. Then, the Normal Light stops blinking and goes to solid green. The miner then resets itself and does the same exact thing.

It ran like this for a day without any success.

Here is a screen shot of the miner user interface System.

Here is the Miner Status.

Here is my logs

I am having the same problem. This is my third instance with this problem. I have kept my almost new S9 switched ON for hours but to it still doesn't connect to the pool.
Have you found any resolution to this error ?
Please share. Thanks

I had this issue after I had rebooted it a few times. I saw that the Hardware Version was blank. I updated to the latest firmware and now it’s working. I hope this helps.

where did you download the latest firmware from? I tried downloading from their site https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?pid=00720161126080548570Q2tDBXAH065D but it seems their amazon web services is down :/

thanks
