Kyber is allowing investors to transfer tokens on September 24th, 2017.

Reference: https://blog.kyber.network/kybernetwork-token-sale-address-and-faq-b0ad515bb5df

My question; where will I be able to purchase this right away? EtherDelta?

I am in the USA so I was unable to participate in the ICO unfortunately but I really like the tech of Kyber.

Thank you for any information regarding this.

KNC is on EtherDelta. There are quite a few buy offers already. But obviously nothing is being traded, until the tokens are being released on the 24th.

However, on coinmarketcap there is also a coin called KingN Coin (KNC). How do I know I'm not buying KingN Coin on EtherDelta? Although on CMC it says KingN Coin is only trading on Yobit. Still, it's quite confusing to have multiple coins with the same abbreviation.
