So far this year, Chinese government entities have taken numerous actions which have cooled prices in crypto markets. Thus far, prices have rebounded higher. Every. Single. Time.

I mean, don't get me wrong: I'm one of the first to observe that past performance doesn't guarantee future outcomes; nonetheless, the Chinese governments' ability to have a lasting, material impact on crypto has yet to be demonstrated.

From what I understand there's somewhere around a 15-20% discount in BTC value on Chinese exchanges right now.  This will settle out.

I think the ico option is the best thing to take into account.

This is all some correction of btc. Yesterday JP Morgan chief speak negative about bitcoin thats the reason of market reaction. But I am not panic about it. Market doesn't run by a single person volume of Btc is increasing in exchanges. Big players are waiting to buy in dip they spread rumors or negativity in  the market when market will drop they buy at low & make good profit in less time & one more important thing is market never runs in the same direction it always move in both direction so current scenario of the market is the example of correction of market. But sooner market will rise again

What is happening is really weird. Correction, Panic selling, price manipulation, any rumor or news shouldn't cause the price to fall that much. I really can't understand what is happening.

Well, China's ICO ban caused price to go down, then JP Morgan said bitcoin is fraud and probably some people are panic selling bitcoins.
To be honest i see all this as simple correction, nothing more, just remember what happened week or two before August 1st, bitcoin dropped its value from 2800$ to 1800$ and raised to 4800$.

I agree, It will go back up in a week or so. And I read the comments of the jp banker, so a big banker from the industry that for years and years now has been involved in corruption, scandals, cheating, stealing, fraud, and more is calling bitcoin a fraud? WOW.

People are already afraid of losing their money before investing into bitcoin, now with all these, they got panic and start selling their coins.

Good observations, we have also had a tremendous rally since January 2017 with the crypto sector market cap appreciating from about $10B to $180B so we were way overdue for profit taking and sells offs in the sector. Markets don't move in straight lines and crypto is no exception.

I view this correction as a good time to establish positions in core names. I have been buying additional shares of LTC and a few micro cap names to increase my staking income. We could easily have more selling from current levels so its risky to be bottom fishing IMHO. Bottom fish at your own risk!

Nope, I recommend you should turn off your computer and go out your home, do not remember your Bitcoin amount, it just makes you feel boring more and cannot keep your calm for have good decisive.
