Yup.. all i ever see in the world of 'crypto' is noob accounts.
And for some strange reason they get mouthy like they know things.
They don't.

So i contest this is a bad thing (for crypto)
For example they latched onto ICO's and are supporting them out of greed.
Which in turn is killing crypto and ruining any future it might have had.

Noobs if you don't learn history it has a tendency to repeat.
And this scammy ICO bulllshit popularity is the same as late 2013's SCRYPT cloning phase.
What goes up must come down.. this time it will be with tougher and tougher regulations though.
Because you are BEGGING for them by being greedy irresponsible Investards.

NOOBS ..everywhere.

Essentially what i witnessed is pajeets flood in.
They can rarely speak English (in the English sections)
Yet they either ignore any hint of ideology or argue in defense of scams.
They lowered the crypto-bar to obscene levels.. simply out of greed.
I watched it play out the same as the mass scrypt coin cloning craze took hold.
Here we go again..
Nobody gives two shits *WHAT* they are buying.
They proclaim they are investors.. in "startups".
Only problem is they are not investors at all.. they don't know what being an investor means.
These are "like penny stocks" ?
Uhmm no they aren't.
Nor should people be "investing" in companies either.
What part of decentralized don't the Investards get here ?
Investing in RIPPLE INCORPORATED ? for what ? an ICO coin they put out ?
What part of raped and left for dead ideology don't the idiots get ?

I have a friend who knows little about this but he was quick to mention how ETH went up a lot in price.
Did he bring up whether its scammy ?
Does he care ?

FUCK NO.

No one does.
The ice cold reality here is *ANY* scheme shitcoin bullshit ICO crap that pays out profits is deemed "acceptable"
It could be the most rigged shitcoin ever but as long as the "investors" AKA: the hoards of idiots greedy noobs piling in make profits off it then it's ok.

I'm done.. long ago.
I won't play with these little scammy shit heads.
I am not trading coins on crooked centralized exchanges with them.
I'd sooner light my money on fire or give my Bitcoin away.
The noobs turned this into a greedy immoral scammy joke.
A bad joke.. not funny at all.

You reap what you sow.
If you can't head my warning and you refuse to listen pajeets then keep shitting in the crypto-streets.
There will be consequences i can assure you.

I have always said i am not against profit in crypto.
But there needs to be a distinction from profits from good and bad coins.
I just finished replying to a guy on the Onion scam topic who was basically saying it can't be a scam because he made money of it.
So what kind of fucked up warped retarded logic is that ?

The reality is that there are a lot of non scams where people will still lose. Even legitimate projects can fail.

I don't get mad at noobs (unless they ask questions that a 2 second web search can answer). They have to start somewhere. As crypto awareness grows, there will be a continual flood of newcomers from all over the world.

This market has sucked in all the poor people from the Philippines,
and they're all coming here because they heard you can earn money
just by posting here. No joke.  They've got nothing to say about bitcoin
because they don't understand it or care about it.  They learn canned
responses to frequently asked questions like "how i can earnz from
sig campain??" and "how i become jr member??".  If you wonder why
those topics keep popping up, it's because the shit posters need
another fresh topic to shit post in.  I'm starting to feel nauseous and
therefore will end my rant now.

LOL that guy seems to be pretty retarded. Money can be made by in many ways but how is it made makes us judge whether its good or bad.
You must have made him realize the fact that most of the money is made by doing scam and he is being a part of it.
I really don't know of the Onion scam but just saying there are many methods in crypto by which one can scam other without even letting him know. So it really depends from person to person whether he is able to identify the scam from his point of view.

I think many long termers are sick of this forum. I try to have reasonable convos on here but everyone is a dick these days.

Saying that...this is still where you got to go to find good projects. Once found i think most scurry off into slacks...twitter etc.

I agree with you. This is the sad truth when it comes to crypto currencies. But the worse thing is human nature. Because knowing humans, never will it happen that a human who have needs or ambitions would not take advantage on things that it can. Because everyone wants an easy life. And this is reality.

What goes up must come down! I totally agree Spoetnik, since I personally witnessed this recently.

It will have a down point, and if the crypto survives this, it will only have the opportunity to build something stronger.

Greed is an amazing thing. Hearing that a person made 40 million USD by just investing 20k, is amazing, and you just want to follow this.. You just say, why not.

The down face will come, I thing a large proportion of people knows this, all thought they do not wish to talk about, or believe it.

I haven't been here long (lurked for awhile before joining) but it's not hard to see why everyone is a dick.  The level of stupidity on this forum is mind boggling.

Examples of topics/posts I see everyday.

1) OMG, BTC fell 1%, should I sell?  I can't handle these wild swings, it's stressinig me out.

2) My altcoin has been red for at least the past 6 hours, is it crashing?  Should I panic?

3)I bought (insert alt here) at the peak because it was rising and I had great FOMO.  2 days later - I sold for 10% loss because it was going down and it's already been 2 WHOLE DAYS, surely it's going to crash to nothing. Sad  Another 2 days later - damnit it spiked 40% and not only did I lose money but I lost out on profit because I'm an idiot that panics at every little dip.

4) (Insert scam alt here) is the best coin ever!  It's going to the MOOONNNNN!  Buy it now and don't miss out!

5) Etc, etc etc, etc etc..........

Edit: There are plenty of idiot legendary members here too who I've seen shill shitcoins and scam ico's.  Legendary status means nothing but all the noobs act like they must have some godlike status just because they have a high post count.  LOL

Sadly, all of this is completely true. It's a shame there is no rule to ban people for that kind of posts, because it's really tiring to see all that trash here all day every day.

Have to agree with Spoetnik on this. I've never seen so many worthless posts (well except maybe in late 2012 early 2013). ICOs are basically junk.

... are supporting them out of greed.
Which in turn is killing crypto and ruining any future it might have had.

sometimes i think this altcoin market needs to die and burn to the ground so that something fresh and good can rise up from its ashes.

of course i hope it doesn't get to that point and i still have some small hope for some altcoins that nobody even pays attention to. but i can't help thinking the way everyone is only caring for more money and how everything that comes out is either a scam or a pump and dump kills even that glimmer of hope!
