I honestly don't think that the amount of the investment should affect what you invest in.
Sure, if you invest in an altcoin that's early on, you might see higher percentage gains, but you should really do the research and just invest in what interests you.
If you like btc, buy $50 of it; if you like eth, buy $50 of it.
That being said, XRP is really cheap right now and you could get a decent amount for $50. Some don't like how centralized it is, but I do think it will have pretty impressive growth in the future.
I think the amount should affect the investment, depending on the overall situation. If you have very little to invest and wouldn't be hurt too much by losing it, it's more sensible to invest in something a little riskier with much higher upside potential than to go for a slow investment that will hardly throw off any return in absolute numbers. Investing $50 in Bitcoin will at best yield $50 to 100 by next year. Investing the same amount in something like SONM could yield $200 to $600 in the same time frame. Of course, the larger the investment the more important preservation of capital becomes and thus the stakes in safer assets should increase. Depending on the risk appetite people should also consider diversifying into stocks and savings accounts once they reach capital in the range of $500k to $1000k and upwards. Personally I wouldn't waste any time on savings accounts since they have no potential of growing money, but some people seem to like that, which is fair enough. Either way, I believe the amount invested should definitely be a point for consideration when it comes to choosing investments.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

So need patience and see the market. Thank you. and best of luck Yeah when you start with low amount. You need to be patience to see the chance to earn profit with your low amount it's really hard to get big amount within short time.

what can you advise for newbie in cryptocurrency business for start?
If you would like relative safe and stable growth cash, go with coins in the top 30 marketcap. These coins are place infront for reasons. But if you are looking to multiply, you will then looking at ICO coins (Which i won't really suggest) because most people who go greed just got their money gone easily The investment is $50, so I will suggest you to invest in top 20 altcoins in market cap. You have few options any how today and tomorrow all altcoins price will come low. So if you get a chance to buy waves at $2 you can buy it you can make a double profit within one month. Becasue this coin stable price is $5. This is just my observation. But before investing your money you can think and take suggestions from others and invest. Don't just invest based on my words.

"you can bought bitcoins then keep as long term" - that's why, I don't like this variant. I would like to choose altcoins, but where is the garantee that price will come low? It's popularity grows up, so in top 20 altcoins in market cap it can be otherwise. Biggest Gainers statistics for altcoins for example for ETH shows remarkable growth.. Should I invest in ETH? Is it stable? What about other alternative coins? Blockchains? Can't choose between something old but stable and new and risky but boost

Except that in any kind of lottery or casino game the odds are stacked against you, while in the world of investment it all depends on you.

Buy bitcoin and hold it, or I think you can buy deeponion or omisego. That's pretty good the price will rise later(just my opinion). OR maybe you want to try your luck, try to buy a trueflip ticket and maybe you'll get 1000$ . Good luck!

Best advice I could give you would be to buy bitcoin and hold them for some time. Don't sell them right away and buy them now because bitcoins price is dumping.

Are there any legitimate exchanges that offer interest on Bitcoin deposits? And if so, how much interest is it?

For me that pretty much all depends on your willingness for risk. I mean, there is a huge amount of risk involved in cryptocurrency investments but there are different kinds of risks in coins. Take Bitcoin, one of the safest investments there is in crypto-land, while new coins at an extremely low price may have a higher risk, as the project is newer, not established or known yet. But the new penny coins are the ones I like the most as they have the potential to give you huge returns on investment in the future.
