Marton Ven (CMO) presented TE-FOOD, and the concept of food traceability on blockchain at Anuga 2017 Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany for several European retail chain leaders (Rewe, Metro, etc.) and food industry representatives. Anuga is the largest food industry trade fair in Europe.

TE-FOOD exhibited on the World Export Development Forum 2017

The World Export Development Forum (WEDF), the flagship event of the Geneva-based International Trade Centre (ITC), was held in Budapest, Hungary, on 25–26 October 2017.

TE-FOOD had a booth to present food traceability on blockchain to hundreds of trade experts from all around the world. We had a lot of good B2B meetings, interesting discussions, and promising validations.

For traceability ledger, we plan to use a private blockchain solution, because of scalability, cost factor, and the sophisticated privacy requirements.

The hard cap is US$ 16 million. As the system itself is ready and in live operation (currently as a centralized system), most of the funds will be spent on international market expansion.
