This China News is the main reason why most coins are dumping as of now.Its not actually a price correction but it was really dumping because of banning and closing exchanges together with some fuds. Exactly, majority of people is dumping. People have to accept the fact that the china news + JPMorgan CEO statement just rekt the market real hard. If cryptocurrency could survive this current waves of FUD, it will proof that the world have a place for it.

Trading will be halted for some time but I doubt they will cease operations.
Probably exchanges will wait for regulations and resume trading after few weeks/months.

They will still trade until end of September. Maybe by that time, they will be regulated and continue trade afterwards.

I can say that market is still strong. Chinese people hold so much coins, and all chinese exchanges may be closed because of regulation but market is still strong.

From what I've read there's also a decision incoming on the Bitcoin ETF in October. Provided that's good news, there's a couple of good weeks to buy.

If one is looking for at btc as an investment then yes, totally, it's wise to wait till btc becomes great without China. Yet, as it is likely to take some time, for those who count on btc on regular basis it is better to cash out right now. As for alts, I expect them to recover sooner, for lots of them are actually not Chinese and are used not by Chinese. Thus, I think alts are now really good as a short-term investment option.

Correct, this is why on any decisions we would made we should really be careful and thinking always on win-win situation.Panic selling wont really give you a good thing but wrong decisions that you would able to regret later.If you are a short trader yesterdays opportunity had come on where the price had pumped almost $1k price which would actually give you some sweet profits if you do enter the right time.

Yes, right now there is completely downfall because after the Chinese government announced to ban Bitcoin exchanges. Nobody doesn't know why they took a strong decision in Banning the exchanges and now it is affecting other altcoin and with Bitcoin also.

The price already back to the above 3500 for each bitcoin but that wasn't mean the price will be stable in above 3500 or even 4000 again. The chinese news gets a lot of impact to the market and that makes the market feeling stressed due to the a lot of chinese exchange site are closing their service.

Price correction was done already, this drop is due to the news China has brought us. Mostly negative news that's why bitcoin and most of the altcoins are dumping recently but don't loose hope yet, it'll regain back and increase back its price.
