Hi experts, I wonder if you could recommend me the best PSU you would install for a Bitmain's S9.
Of course my installation is a 220v one

I have seen some Asian proposals in EBay, some unbranded "platinum" 1600W PSU.

I think 1600W is enough for the S9 but what about brands?

I'm all eyes to your comments and thanks in advance

I buy DELL AHF-2DC-2100W PSUs for S9s, and then I make the cables by myself.
Crimper
Pins
Plastic connector cases
and 1mm (AWG 18) wires...

I highly recommend looking into amitylabs through ebay, they make a great product. There is also Sidehack here within the community I don't know exactly what he produces but have heard good things.

I use AWG16 so the cables can support the amperage Smiley

Thank you very much! I wish I could still make my own cables, at this moment I want just to buy a key in hand solution.
That information you posted is very useful for my partners back in my country when mining its still a dangerous bussiness

.

I'll look out for amitylabs, I remember back in the days of the S5 Holybitcoin was the place to buy adaptation for the HP PSU.
Things changes so quickly in this mining world..

APW 3++ is cheap enough and specifically designed to work with the S9.

Anything Delta-made (which includes a lot of "HP" and "Dell" branded PS) should be reliable.

EVGA G2 1600 (if you can FIND them any more) in a pinch or if you want the ability later to shift to 110.

dont worry, I always work with 220v. I dont like EVGA because I think they are not made to work 24/7. I better use a server Power Supply Unit, I love the HP. I will search for those Delta-made you mention. thank you.
